10 TERMS & CONDITIONS Payment Terms Payment is due 30 days after invoice. Additional fees may apply for late payments. Conversion and transfer fees will be passed onto the client. Rates do not include GST 10% and will be added where required within Australia. Client may opt to pay via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). Artwork and Design All artwork and material supplied to Australian Manufacturing must abide by specific specifications and dimensions. Production fees will apply should alterations, amendments or additional proofs become necessary. Fees will also be applied on anything requiring any additional production or services needed for publication. Production fees will be invoiced to the client and charged at cost in addition to the advertising space booked. The positioning or placing of an advertisement is at the discretion of the publisher except where specific instructions are agreed upon when booking. Cancellations Cancellations after the publication booking deadline will not be accepted and the full rate booked will be invoiced to the client. In the event of non-receipt of the new copy, Australian Manufacturing reserves the right to reprint the previous insertion or substitute artwork on behalf of the client to fulfill the space booked. Agency Commission An agency commission of 10% is offered to Accredited Advertising Agencies only. Australian Manufacturing reserves the rights to decline commission to new clients until approval has been negotiated. Features Editorial features are planned to run over the forthcoming issues. Please note however, that Australian Manufacturing reserves the right to alter, amend, change, delete or substitute any feature for others. Before booking a space in any given feature please indicate placement of advertisement within the feature to avoid misunderstanding. Supplied Artwork Artwork must be given in High Resolution in a PDF or JPEG file (CMYK 300dpi minimum). Please include trim marks and 5mm bleed. Australian Manufacturing reserves the right to alter or omit any article or advertisement submitted and requires indemnity from the advertisers and contributors against damages or liabilities that may arise from material published. Australian Manufacturing will not be liable for damage or other circumstances arising from omission, late publication, any loss occasioned by failure of an advertisement to appear on any specific date, any discrepancy in colour, layout or design of advertise- 9 ments, or any other cause whatsoever for damage to or loss of artwork or any other material. Warranty and Indemnity Advertiser warrants that it will only use the advertising space which it acquires to advertise its own brands, goods or services and may not sell or otherwise deal with that advertising space. Where Advertiser is an advertising agency the space may only be used by the client for which the space was initially acquired or booked. Advertiser warrants that the advertisement complies with all relevant laws and regulations and that its publication in accordance with these terms will not give rise to any claims against or liabilities of Australian Manufacturing, its directors, employees or agents. Without limiting the generality of the above, advertisers and or advertising agencies warrant that neither the advertisement nor its publication breaches or will breach the Trade Practices Act of Advertiser indemnifies Australian Manufacturing, its directors, employees and agents against all claims, demands, proceedings, costs (including solicitors and own client costs), expenses, damages awards, judgements and any other liability whatsoever arising wholly or partially, directly or indirectly, from or in connection with the publication of the advertisement.
