2 DOMAIN NAME PRICE 2015 The 2015 price list (here by attached) comprises of some changes compared to the previous years. RICTA have set Retail prices for National (Rwandan Citizens) and East African domain name holders. Restore prices for the domain names that fall in the Redemption Grace period. For International Domain holders RICTA will maintain the wholesale prices. Two letter character domain names are NOW available and will be the same price was the 3 letter character domain names. Retail price fees A retail price has been set for National (Rwandan Citizens) and East African domain holders for registration, renewals and other services. This retail price will be a shared cost (50% for registrars and 50% for registry).this mark-up will be the price of a domain name that the registrant will not exceed. Restore fees The restore fees will be charged to domain names that fall in the pending delete life cycle on the domain name. Refer to Fig 1. Domain life cycle 2015 The Restore fee will be an additional fee paid with the Domain renewal charges.

3 Available Domain tasting Active A domain name is available and ready for registration Domain tasting is for five(5) days Day one of registration (100% full refund) Day two of registration (80% refund) Day 3-5 of registration A domain name is active till expiry date Expired The domain name expires Grace Period Redempti on grace period Pending delete The grace period is for thirty (30) days from Expiry date The redemption grace period is for fifteen(15 )Days from Grace period The pending delete is for thirty ( 30) days from Redemption Grace Period it is in this period that the restore fees apply(25% of the renewal fee for National and East african Domain name holders and 50% of the renewal fees for international domain name holders ) Released Domain Name is released to the pool of available Domain Names

Therefore the payment process cycle is quick and accurate in order to process effectively the client/registrant request. RICTA is automating the Registry system will take effect ten (10) days after the price validation.
