Configuring NComputing Technology with Virtual Machines Overview NComputing vspace software and matching access devices allow you to implement virtual desktop environments in many different ways. This document provides overviews of how to set up these different types of environments and includes specific instructions and tips for setting up virtual machine-based configurations (for standard NComputing vspace configurations, please refer to the User Manuals provided with NComputing products also available online in the download section of the NComputing website). A virtual desktop gives a user effectively the same computing experience that they have come to expect from a standalone PC, but the desktop is delivered remotely from a shared computer. Virtual desktops can be delivered and implemented in a variety of ways. The standard NComputing virtualization approach uses vspace software installed in a host operating system to deliver virtual user workspaces to L-series and X-series access devices. vspace software was developed in conjunction with purpose-built hardware to create optimized access devices that deliver the best possible remote user experience at a very low cost. Despite their low cost, NComputing virtual desktop solutions produce a computing experience that is superior to those provided with other remote desktop products (i.e. traditional thin clients running RDP). In addition to the standard configurations, NComputing vspace software and NComputing access devices can be used in conjunction with virtual machine software from companies like VMware. These types of configurations are often referred to as VDI virtual desktop infrastructure. This document focuses primarily on configuring these alternative configurations which can be used to solve specific business problems (i.e. user isolation, application compatibility, host server consolidation in the data center, etc.). NComputing technology can be used in several ways with virtual machines: 1. VDI with dedicated user desktops... Page 2 2. VDI with user selectable desktops.. Page 4 3. High-density configurations using server consolidation Page 5 This document covers these configurations and then provides some specific tutorials on setting up these environments with VMware Virtual Server and ESX as examples: Tutorial 1: Installing VMware Server (on Linux or Windows Server 2003). Page 7 Tutorial 2: Creating the Base Virtual Image and Clone VMs. Page 12 Tutorial 3: Enabling L-series USB support in VMware ESX3.x Page 24 1 of 24 pages

1. VDI with dedicated user desktops In this approach, individual instances of the client OS (i.e. Microsoft Windows XP) are run inside virtual machines that are created using one of the myriad virtualization products currently on the market. These virtualization technologies span a wide range of prices, and which virtualization product is best for a particular environment is not in this document s scope. Most of the virtual machine generating products can be used interchangeably in the approaches described below. In this approach, NComputing vspace software replaces Microsoft RDP for enabling remote user access from our L-series devices. The use of vspace delivers a user experience superior to that of RDP. Specifically, vspace audio is properly synced with video when playing streaming media; while RDP typically experiences numerous audio drop-outs and a 3 to 4 second time lag in audio synchronization. vspace also provides transparent USB redirection, while RDP only allows user access to specific types of USB data devices that are recognized by Microsoft s RDP client on the thin client device. Plus the OS on the thin client itself must contain a driver for every USB device that you might wish to connect. There are third party add-on products that can be used to extend RDP using custom RDP side channels and gain remote access to more USB devices, but these products add to deployment costs and maintenance complexity. Transparent USB redirection is supplied as a standard feature of vspace, and you use ubiquitously available Windows XP USB drivers inside the virtual machine images themselves. Just as our L-series devices are impervious to viruses, you also need no special software on L-series devices to use entirely new USB products. There are two options for setting up user access to a VDI desktop. Most customers choose to set up each L-series device to connect to a particular virtual machine for each user (or user group). These connections can be setup using the Setup option that is accessible by clicking the Options button on the L-series device connection splash screen. 2 of 24 pages

Clicking the Setup button brings up the Setup screen. Then selecting a specific server connection name (TS 2 and TS 3 in screen shots below names can be changed via edit screen), and clicking Edit allows you to access the Edit Connection Profile screen. From the edit connection profile screen, enable the autoconnect function to make the L-series device present the user with a standard Windows XP login screen (as shown below). 3 of 24 pages

2. VDI with user selectable desktops This approach is set up the same as dedicated desktops, but instead of enabling the autoconnect function, you configure the L-series device s connection to show a choice of specific VDI desktops the user can select from (as shown below). This gives more flexibility to the user and/or the device deployment scenario. For example, a user can connect to their virtual machine from any location, by simply selecting and logging in to the same virtual machine. 4 of 24 pages

3. High-density configurations using server consolidation In this approach, various instances of Server 2003 are run in individual virtual machines in a server configured with enough processing power and memory to accommodate the users that would otherwise would have been supported on individual hosts. NComputing vspace software is used inside each virtual machine to generate multiple virtual desktops. This server consolidation approach enables you to achieve significantly higher user-to-host ratios by using a combination of vspace s multi-user capabilities and virtual machine technology. Depending on the number of users per host, this approach may be the most cost effective way to deliver desktops that are provisioned with widely divergent sets of software applications. It is a common misconception that a Windows Server OS delivers desktops that are different from those experienced with Windows XP Professional (or another desktop operating system). It is actually quite easy to make a server OS s virtual desktops essentially identical to Windows XP desktops. The NComputing knowledge base has documents that explain just how to configure Windows Server 2003 to look and feel just like Windows XP (go to the NComputing knowledge base on in the support section of and search on Server 2003 ). For this approach, you can use the L-series device configuration screens as described above to access the Edit Configuration Profiles screen and enable AutoDetection. An L-device with autodetect enabled automatically discovers all vspace servers that exist on the local subnet and presents their names in a selection list on the device connection screen (see screen image below). 5 of 24 pages

Engineering Server Marketing Server HR and Finance Server Operations Server L -series server AutoDetection can provide user with a choice of vspace servers. As shown above, customers often name the servers to reflect the job functions for which it is provisioned, and it helps the desktop user to select the correct server to generate his/her virtual desktop. Another configuration option is similar to the approach described under the VDI with dedicated desktops discussion earlier in this document. This time we have L-series devices configured to connect to an individual virtual machine, but the user s virtual desktop (or session) is not established until the user logs in. This approach is shown in the diagram below. With autoconnect enabled, users are automatically presented with a Server 2003 login screen (see screen shot below). And once logged in, the user s desktop can be configured to be virtually identical to a Windows XP desktop. Via AutoConnect, L-series can automatically present user login screen for vspace Virtual Desktop server provisioned for this station. DOMAINNAME For additional flexibility, you can configure individual user privileges so that once logged-in, each user can be governed by different policies. User groups and rights can be managed via Active Directory in exactly the same way as you would manage them for individual PCs. This enables a flexible and easily managed environment using familiar tools. For example, if a user is assigned to a particular group in Active Directory their user experience, access rights, application choices, and other parameters will be determined dynamically as a result of their login. A different user connecting from the same station can be presented with a different user experience again based solely on their login and configurations in Active Directory. This is by far, the simplest and most flexible approach to dynamic allocation that requires no new management tools (i.e. complex 3 rd -party connection brokers) or training. 6 of 24 pages

Tutorial 1: Installing VMware Server software on opensuse Linux or Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Before you begin installing software: Create your Virtual Desktop deployment plan, and define a naming convention that makes sense for both your business environment and for the systems management team. Note that the Virtual Machine system names should be less than or equal to 15 characters. Although it s perfectly acceptable for PCs to have system names greater than 15 characters, many system management packages (i.e., those using Microsoft NetBios) cannot work correctly with the longer names. Note: this document assumes opensuse Linux or Windows Server 2003 has already been installed on the PC. When all installation steps are complete, each PC s disk will have a base OS instance of the host OS, VMware Server hosted on the OS, and four virtual machine logical hard drives containing four instances of Windows XP Professional installed on that PC. Again, the system and virtual machine naming scheme needs to fully defined and the PC equipment placement plan should be in place, BEFORE beginning actual PC and virtual session deployment. Create the PC Host OS image by: 1. Installing opensuse Linux on the host system (in this document, the KDE graphical interface is shown). Be certain to take the extra necessary steps to insure that your opensuse installation contains the gcc compiler/development environment. or You can do this after opensuse starts, by bringing up the YaST configuration application and drill down through Software > Software Management and search for: kernel-source gcc make Check and install all items that are found by these three searches. 2. Installing Microsoft Windows Server 2003 on the host system. Create an appropriate disk directory as defined in the planning stage, and this directory will be used to hold all the Virtual Machines for this PC. Install VMware Virtual Server on top of your chosen host OS. 7 of 24 pages

Installing and starting VMware Server components on an opensuse Linux Host Caution: If the opensuse firewall is enabled, it will prevent access from the VMware Virtual Machine Console and the VMware Management Interface on client computers to the VMware Server host. In order for the VMware Virtual Machine Console to connect to the host, you may need to open up port 902 (perhaps 904). To connect to the host with the VMware Management Interface, you need to open up port 8333 (and port 8222 if you plan to disable SSL for the management interface). On the host Linux instance running on the PC: Log on to your Linux host with the user name you plan to use when running VMware Server. In a terminal window, become root so you can perform the initial installation. su - Change to the directory where you saved the installer files. Installing VMware Server Use the tar installer: Complete the following steps. Unpack the tar archive. tar zxf VMware-server-<xxxx>.tar.gz Change to the installation directory. cd vmware-server-distrib Run the installation program../vmware-install.pl Accept the default directories for the binary files, daemon files, library files, manual files, documentation files, init directories and init scripts. With the tar installer, it offers to launch the configuration program (vmware-config.pl) for you. Answer Yes when you see the prompt. Use vmware-config.pl to reconfigure VMware Server whenever you upgrade your kernel. It is not necessary to reinstall VMware Server after you upgrade your kernel. You can also use vmware-config.pl to reconfigure the networking options for VMware Server for example, to add or remove host-only networks. Press Enter to read the end user license agreement (EULA). You may page through it by pressing the space bar. If the Do you accept prompt DOES NOT appear, press Q for next prompt. Configure networking for your virtual machines. If you want to use any type of networking with virtual machines, answer Yes to this prompt: Do you want networking for your virtual machines? 8 of 24 pages

Bridged networking is always enabled if you enable networking. At this point you may have to press Q to get to the next prompt. To enable NAT, answer Yes to the following prompts: Do you want to be able to use NAT networking in your virtual machines? Do you want this script to probe for an unused private subnet? At this point you may have to press Q to get to the next prompt. This allows you to connect your virtual machines to an external network when you have only one IP network address on the physical network, and that address is used by the host computer. To enable host-only networking, answer Yes to the following prompts: Do you want to be able to use host-only networking in your virtual machines? Do you want this script to probe for an unused private subnet? At this point you may have to press Q to get to the next prompt. Host-only networking allows for networking between the virtual machine and the host operating system. Specify the port the VMware Virtual Machine Console uses when connecting to the VMware Server host remotely. Port 902 is the default port. If your site uses this port for another application for example, ideafarm-chat uses this port then specify a different port for the console to use here. The installer may recommend port 904, which will usually work fine. Specify the directory where you want to store your virtual machine files. By default, this directory is /var/lib/vmware/virtual Machines. Make sure this location is on a large enough file system to contain the files, as the virtual disk files for each virtual machine are usually gigabytes in size. This directory should be the one you picked during the initial planning stage for the deployment. Enter your VMware Server serial number exactly as it appears (UPPER CASE letters and with hyphens) in the serial number message you received from VMware. When you enter the serial number, it is saved in your license file. The configuration program displays a message saying the configuration completed successfully. If the message does not display this message, run the configuration program (vmware-config.pl) again. Installing the VMware Virtual Machine Console: If you closed the terminal window after the VMware Server installation, you again need to become root so you can carry out the installation steps. su - Change to the directory where you saved the installer file. Unzip the client installer archive to /tmp (to get access to the console tar file) unzip VMware-server-linux-client-<xxxx>.zip -d /tmp (where <xxxx> is a series of numbers representing the version and build numbers) 9 of 24 pages

Caution: If you intend to install the VMware Virtual Machine Console from a tar package, make sure the directory to which you plan to untar the tar archive does not contain any files from a previous console tar installation for example, from a previous installation of VMware GSX Server. Change to the /tmp directory. cd /tmp Using the tar installer, complete the following steps. Unpack the archive. tar zxf VMware-server-console-<xxxx>.tar.gz (where <xxxx> is a series of numbers representing the version and build numbers) The archive unpacks to vmware-server-console-distrib. Run the installer. cd vmware-console-distrib./vmware-install.pl Accept the EULA and answer the questions specifying default directories for the binary files, library files, manual files and documentation files. If the Do you accept prompt DOES NOT appear, press Q to continue. Run the configuration program,./vmware-config-server-console.pl. When you install from the tar archive, the installer will offer to launch this configuration program for you. Answer Yes when you get that prompt. When the configuration completes, log off of the root account, using the exit command exit Open an opensuse Konsole and run the vmware command to launch the Virtual Server Console from the terminal window vmware When the console opens, click on the appropriate radio button that connects the console to the Local host Installing the VMware Management User Interface (mui): If you closed the terminal window after the VMware Server installation, you again need to become root so you can carry out the installation steps. su - Change to the directory where you saved the vmware-mui-distrib file. Run./vmware-install.pl 10 of 24 pages

You must read and accept the EULA to continue.. If the Do you accept prompt DOES NOT appear, press Q to continue. Answer the installation questions, keeping the default directories for the binary files, library files, manual files and documentation files Before running the Management User Interface for the first time, you must configure it by invoking the following command: /usr/bin/vmware-config-mui.pl If you are using the tar installer, it will offer to launch this configuration program for you. Answer Yes when you get that prompt. This configuration step generates an SSL certificate When the configuration completes, log off of the root account, using the exit command exit Open an opensuse Konsole and run the vmware command to launch the Virtual Server Console from the terminal window vmware When the console opens, click on the appropriate radio button that connects the console to the Local host Installing and starting VMware Server on a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Host - Just follow the VMware installer instructions and install VMware Server for Windows. - For the Windows platform (unlike Linux), no special instructions are needed to get past complex install issues. 11 of 24 pages

Tutorial 2: Creating the Base Virtual Image and Clone VMs Create your first Virtual machine which will now be called the Base Virtual Image. Create the First Virtual Machine This launches the virtual machine wizard to guide the VM creation. 12 of 24 pages

For the first VM, you can use the typical defaults: 13 of 24 pages

Specify Windows XP Professional Name the Virtual Machine and specify the location Select Bridged Networking 14 of 24 pages

Before starting the VM, edit the VM settings to add the USB controller and increase memory to 512 Mbytes. After the Virtual Machine starts, click on the Console button to be able to interact with the virtual machine. 15 of 24 pages

As the virtual machine boots up, install your standard OS image using the same process as with a normal install you would do on a standalone PC. Install all the current Microsoft patches, and configure the Windows Desktop to have the desired appearance on all machines/sessions that will be running on the PC. Then install NComputing vspace software on the virtual machine. Be sure to install the VMware Tools into the base virtual machine (if you experience mouse issues inside the virtual machine when using the VMware console, you may need to perform a custom install of VMware Tools and NOT install the VMware mouse tool in the virtual machine.) This toolbar icon shows that the VMware Tools have been installed on this instance of WinXP and that the tools are running. 16 of 24 pages

Run Microsoft s SYSPREP tool on this Base Virtual Machine to create the SYSPREP d disk image that will be used to create all subsequent Virtual Machines that will now be actually deployed on this PC (and potentially other PCs). Download the Windows XP Professional Sysprep files from Microsoft s Web site. The URL is (search for the keyword sysprep). You can also copy these files from the Deploy.cab file, which is on your Windows XP Professional product CD in the Support\Tools folder. Copy all of the files from Deploy.cab to C:\SYSPREP on the virtual hard disk In C:\SYSPREP on the virtual hard disk, run Setupmgr.exe to create C:\SYSPREP\Sysprep.inf: In the virtual machine, run C:\SYSPREP\Sysprep.exe, which prepares the virtual hard disk for distribution and shuts down Windows XP Professional. Select Don t reset grace period for activation. Last, click Reseal. Change the properties on the.vhd file that SYSPREP was run on to reseal to Read Only. This file now becomes the base image for all Virtual Machines to be run on this PC. If you want to use this SYSPREP d Virtual Machine image for reimaging, other deployments, etc. be sure to create a backup copy of this VM s files prior to the following cloning steps. Note: Please leave this virtual machine in a workgroup for now. You can add the virtual machine to a domain after booting the virtual machine image in its new location. Now (one at a time) create three clones of the Virtual Hard Disk that will be used for the additional 3 Virtual Machines that will be accessed via L-series devices. For each additional Virtual Disk: Copy the *.vmdk (virtual disks) and *.vmx (configuration) files. These files are the virtual machine image which can be copied to other systems running VMware products for quick use. Virtual machine images can be kept in a network share location like: \\image_repository_server\imaged_virtual_machines\win2kpro This directory should contain the *.vmdk and *.vmx files. Change the UUID address for each cloned virtual machine. Virtual Machine - UUID Source: Each virtual machine is automatically assigned a universally unique identifier (UUID), which is stored in the SMBIOS system information descriptor. It can be accessed by standard SMBIOS scanning software for example SiSoftware Sandra or the IBM utility smbios2 and used for system management in the same way you use the UUID of a physical computer. The UUID is a 128-bit integer. The 16 bytes of this value are separated by spaces, except for a dash between the eighth and ninth hexadecimal pairs. So a sample UUID looks like this: 17 of 24 pages

aa bb cc dd ee ff The UUID is based on the physical computer's identifier and the path to the virtual machine's configuration file. This UUID is generated when you power on or reset the virtual machine. As long as you do not move or copy the virtual machine to another location, the UUID remains constant. If you move or copy the virtual machine, you have the choice of creating a new UUID the first time you power on the virtual machine. This new UUID is based on the physical computer's identifier and path to the virtual machine's configuration file in its new location. When you power on a virtual machine that was moved or copied to a new location, a warning message appears. If you just moved this virtual machine, you can choose to keep the UUID. Select Keep, then click OK to continue powering on the virtual machine. If you copied this virtual machine to a new location, you should create a new UUID, since the copy of the virtual machine is using the same UUID as the original virtual machine. Select Create, then click OK to continue powering on the virtual machine. If the original virtual machine is being used as a template for more virtual machines, you can choose to create a new UUID the first time you power on each copy. 1. After you configure the virtual machine and are ready to make it a template, move it to a new location and power it on. 2. When the message appears after you power on, select Always Create, then click OK to continue powering on the virtual machine. 3. The virtual machine is set up to create a new UUID every time it is moved. 4. Power off the virtual machine and begin using it as a template by copying the virtual machine files to other locations. If you intend to move the virtual machine numerous times, and want to keep the same UUID each time the virtual machine moves, then select Always Keep and click OK to continue powering on the virtual machine. Note: If you want to change the Always Keep or Always Create setting, power off the virtual machine and edit its configuration file (.vmx). Delete the line that contains uuid.action = "create" or uuid.action = "keep" Suspending and resuming a virtual machine does not trigger the process that generates a UUID. Thus, the UUID in use at the time the virtual machine was suspended remains in use when the virtual machine is resumed, even if it has been copied or moved. However, the next time the virtual machine is rebooted, the message appears, so you can choose to create a new UUID or keep the existing one. 18 of 24 pages

SPECIFYING A UUID FOR A VIRTUAL MACHINE In some circumstances you may want to assign a specific UUID to the virtual machine. To do this, you need to override the automatically generated UUID value. Power off the virtual machine and edit its configuration file (.vmx) to set the value of the UUID parameter. Use a text editor to edit the configuration file. The format for the line is: uuid.bios = <uuidvalue> The UUID value must be surrounded by quotation marks. A sample configuration line looks like: uuid.bios = " aa bb cc dd ee ff" After adding this line to the configuration file, power on the virtual machine. The new UUID is used when the virtual machine boots. Change the MAC address for each cloned virtual machine MAINTAINING AND CHANGING VIRTUAL MACHINE MAC ADDRESSES Source: f When a virtual machine is powered on, GSX Server automatically assigns each of its virtual network adapters an Ethernet MAC address. MAC stands for media access control. A MAC address is the unique address assigned to each Ethernet device. The software guarantees that virtual machines are assigned unique MAC addresses within a given host system. In most cases, the virtual machine is assigned the same MAC address every time it is powered on, so long as the virtual machine is not moved (the path and filename for the virtual machine's configuration file must remain the same) and no changes are made to certain settings in that file. In addition, GSX Server does its best, but cannot guarantee, to automatically assign unique MAC addresses for virtual machines running on multiple host systems. Avoiding MAC Address Changes To avoid changes in the MAC address automatically assigned to a virtual machine, you must not move the virtual machine's configuration file. Moving it to a different host computer or even moving it to a different location on the same host computer changes the MAC address. You also need to be sure not to change certain settings in the virtual machine's configuration files. If you never edit the configuration file by hand and do not remove the virtual Ethernet adapter, these settings remain untouched. If you do edit the configuration file by hand, be sure not to remove or change the following options: ethernet[n].generatedaddress ethernet[n].addresstype ethernet[n].generatedaddressoffset uuid.location uuid.bios ethernet[n].present In these options, [n] is the number of the virtual Ethernet adapter, for example ethernet0. 19 of 24 pages

Note: To preserve a virtual Ethernet adapter's MAC address, you also must be careful not to remove it. If you remove the adapter, then recreate it, it may receive a different MAC address. Manually Assigning a MAC Address If you want to guarantee that the same MAC address is assigned to a given virtual machine every time, even if the virtual machine is moved, or if you want to guarantee a unique MAC address for each virtual machine within a networked environment, you can assign the address manually instead of letting VMware Server assign it automatically. To assign the same, unique MAC address to any virtual machine manually, use a text editor to remove three lines from the configuration file and add one line. The configuration file has a.vmx extension at the end of the filename. On a Linux host, a virtual machine created with an earlier VMware product may have a configuration file with a.cfg extension. Remove the three lines that begin with the following: ethernet[n].generatedaddress ethernet[n].addresstype ethernet[n].generatedaddressoffset In these options, [n] is the number of the virtual Ethernet adapter for example ethernet0. Add the following line to the configuration file : ethernet0.address = 00:50:56:XX:YY:ZZ In this line, XX must be a valid hexadecimal number between 00h and 3Fh, and YY and ZZ must be valid hexadecimal numbers between 00h and FFh. Because VMware Server virtual machines do not support arbitrary MAC addresses, you must use the above format. So long as you choose a value for XX:YY:ZZ that is unique among your hard-coded addresses (where XX is a valid hexadecimal number between 00h and 3Fh, and YY and ZZ are valid hexadecimal numbers between 00h and FFh), conflicts between the automatically assigned MAC addresses and the manually assigned ones should never occur. 20 of 24 pages

Now one at a time, use the Virtual Machine Wizard to create 3 new Virtual Machines to host the 3 additional Virtual Hard Drives that were just created. For each Virtual Machine: For the Clone VMs select Custom Name the Virtual Machine and specify the location where the cloned Virtual Hard Disk was created. Enter the Virtual Machine name defined in the planning steps that corresponds with the subdirectory used when creating the Virtual Disk in the appropriate previous Cloned Disk creation step This example was constructed on a dualprocessor blade; so in this situation, VMware Server allows creating a 2P virtual machine.. 21 of 24 pages

Right now, it seems that private access should NOT be set. Fill in the memory field, but it can always be changed later. Specify memory for this VM Specify use an existing virtual hard disk, and then enter filename of the virtual disk created for this Virtual Machine in the appropriate previous Clone Disk creation step. Specify to use an existing hard disk which will be one that was created earlier 22 of 24 pages

Now a total of 4 virtual machines have been created for end users to access via L-series devices. You can click on the VMware Server Console s Summary icon and modify Virtual Machine attributes as desired. Select either adapter type Example of the information provided when the Summary icon is clicked on the VMware Server Console When each virtual machine is started for the first time, the standard configuration info for SYSPREP d images will need to be gone through. Make sure the respective SYSIDs are defined according to the rules determined in the initial planning stages. NOTE: Depending on how many virtual desktops are to be deployed with VMware-enabled virtual environments, you may wish to snap off the base OS image for deploying to other PCs prior to start up for any of the 4 user accessible virtual machines that were created from the master PC image. 23 of 24 pages

Tutorial 3: Enabling L-series USB support in VMware ESX3.x VMware s ESX 3.x platform does not normally support USB on virtual machines. However, since vspace and the L-series access devices transparently redirect USB to the virtual machine itself, VMware ESX doesn t have to be involved in generating USB support to a Windows XP virtual machine. To enable L-series Windows XP USB support from a VMware ESX virtual machine, you just need to copy Windows XP s seven "USB core files" into the virtual machine OS image prior to installing NComputing vspace. These seven files can be found on the standard Windows XP Professional install CD. The files to copy to the virtual machine file system and then rename are: Filename on WinXP install CD File on C:\Windows\system32\drivers directory usbd.sy_ -> usbd.sys usb.in_ -> usb.inf usbmon.dl_ -> usbmon.dll usbport.in_ -> usbport.inf usbport.sy_ -> usbport.sys usbohci.sy_ -> usbohci.sys usbuhci.sy_ -> usbuhci.sys After performing all the file copy/renames, simply install NComputing vspace on the VM, restart it, and USB support should now work from the L-series device. 24 of 24 pages
