3 EDDIE DONALDSON For more than two decades, Eddie Donaldson has erased the lines between street artist influencers and corporations. Prior to his current role as co-founder of The Marketing Division, Donaldson established the GuerillaOne agency, a company that continues to provide marketing, event coordination, promotion, street tactics, tastemaker influence and much more for corporations seeking to tap into the excitement, influence and creativity of the street. Donaldson recently joined forces with likeminded business partner, Evan Cerasoli, to take his experience and vision to its highest level at The Marketing Division ( The new company finds him, alongside his partner, passionately heading up a full-service marketing agency with a farreaching team that is dedicated to the delivery of solid concepts individually tailored to each client s needs. Most importantly, Donaldson is dedicated to showing results with his new marketing company. Leading up to his new role, Donaldson worked with an array of esteemed advertising agencies like Chiat Day and Wieden+Kennedy along with groundbreaking artists including Shepherd Fairey, Ben Mor, 7th Letter Crew and Freddi C. Add that to relationships developed with virtually every major record label in the business, as well as a number of emerging streetwear apparel companies, and you get a guy who knows what he s doing. In the past seven years alone, Donaldson has generated more than $10 million in contracts for artists from corporate sponsors. Before his current all-encompassing role at GuerillaOne and The Marketing Division, Donaldson was a leading event coordinator who organized more than 1,800 corporate sponsored concerts, parties and events for artists who went on to be today s biggest stars - including NWA, 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, NAS, The Fugees, The Pharcyde, Outkast, The Roots and Black Eyed Peas. He also produced events with House of Pain with whom he worked as Tour and Marketing Manager for three years. Donaldson has also been influential in the urban apparel industry since it emerged. He originated (and continues to organize) the Streetwear Night Party - one of the most esteemed events at the annual MAGIC tradeshow in Las Vegas. From 1994 to 1997, he served as Director of Marketing and Promotion for Third Rail Brand Lines where he coordinated promotional shows, events and product placement for the Skate/ BMX apparel manufacturer. His role included relationships with then-emerging artists Korn, Sugar Ray, Limp Bizkit and Sublime, as well as shows like Baywatch, In Living Color and Saturday Night Live, plus numerous action sports figures. In another role, as Director of Entertainment Marketing for Red Bull, Donaldson was instrumental in establishing the energy drink as a leader in the youth market by originating and organizing promotional events with talent like Shaquille O Neal, Jamie Foxx and Sharon Stone. Rounding out his marketing expertise for today s technologically-driven market, Donaldson draws on the interactive and online marketing experience he gained as Director of Offline Marketing and Promotion for the groundbreaking Digital Entertainment Network (DEN.net) - whose main advertisers included Ford, Pepsi, Microsoft, and Dell. Recently he has worked with MSN on launching MSNSearch with Activision on their True Crime game series. He continues to maintain relationships with top Virtual Social Networks, including MySpace, TagWorld and other emerging networks. When you add up all of Eddie Donaldson s experience in youth marketing including his influential relationships with artists and corporations, groundbreaking clothing lines and emerging technologies, few who work in the field today can compare. Simply put, his unique perspective, pioneering experience and track record speak for itself.
