2 ELAN Network: European and Latin American Technology Based Business Network The ELAN Network is a space for collaboration, cogeneration and development of technology based business opportunities between Europe and Latin America. It brings together key European and Latin American research and innovation actors (R&I), who promote technology based transformation processes and economic growth, in order to: Promote the generation of technology based business opportunities between European and Latin American SMEs, enhancing R&D results with a business model that responds to market demands. Promote the exchange of knowledge, technology transfer and co-creation processes to foster the competitiveness of SMEs and an equitable and sustainable socio-economic development. Accompany innovative SMEs in their efforts to transfer technology to new geographical markets. The ELAN Network is focused on the following sectors: Renewable Energies Biotechnology & Bioeconomy Environmental Technologies Health Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) Nanotechnologies New Materials Space for collaboration, cogeneration and development of technology based business opportunities between Europe and Latin America Technical Mission to Argentina Business meeting to address the challenges of development in Argentina, identifying innovative businesses based on new technologies, sectors linked to ICTs, Biotechnology and Energy. A unique opportunity to find in one place the several actors of the innovation ecosystem both in Europe and Argentina, including large corporations, small businesses, technological development centres, public authorities, associations, etc. The third day 's agenda will be shared with the event Argentina Brokerage Event ICT 2016 organized by Enterprise Europe Network (EEN ), a meeting that brings together companies and research centers ICT Argentina and Europe sector to boost potential collaborations both commercial level, as technology transfer and joint technology development projects. This event aims to reach agreements and actions to pursue business opportunities identified in ICT, through bilateral meetings. Goals Identify in the state of art context of the selected topics, the business and technological challenges. Built collaboration spaces on the development of technology-based business opportunities. Create a space where attendees find the indicated partners to board market challenges in the generation of new offers, diversifying actual business or finding new markets. Attendees from ALC and EU Companies, especially SMEs. Technological development centres. Entrepreneurs. Government entities. Business associations and clusters of Europe and Argentina. Unique opportunity to find the agents from the Innovation ecosystem in Energy, Biotechnology and ICTs.
