The selected consultant will serve as an interface with business community, assess customer requirements, evaluate alternatives, and develop existing and new data content. The consultant responsibilities will include mainly the following: - Gather Users Requirements - By domain, provide the list of reports to update, create and archive. - Provide a document analysis of the solution with the list of objects, the target data model, data mapping sources and star model, reports and graph description. - Undertake ETL development between SAP and external relational or decisional databases. - Develop and Implement data sources and targets maps according to the recommended tool: Talend or ODI. - Validate with users that the data is correct in the target system and that reports and graphs are in line with expectations and user specifications. - Work closely with BI Team and provide necessary training or assistance. - Interpret requests for data from colleagues, extract the necessary data using data query tools, validate the data and present the data in report formats for management consumption. - Maintain, and modify existing Oracle Discoverer Data Model for performance and data quality optimization - Initiate, configure, monitor, and validate conversion jobs, source and target data mappings, reporting metrics, and data dictionaries

5 ANNEX 1: TERMS OF REFRENCE RECRUITMENT OF JUNIOR CONSULTANT TECHNICAL DATA ANALYST 1. BACKGROUND 1.1. The African Development Bank Group (AfDB) is a regional multilateral development finance institution established in 1963 with a mandate to further the economic development and social progress of African countries, individually and collectively. The Bank has approximately over 2000 staff members, who have been recruited from a wide geographic area only limited by membership in the Bank. There are currently 80 different nationalities from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas represented within the Bank making the institution multicultural in every sense of the word. The Bank has two official languages: English and French. It co-operates with a large network of international development partners The Corporate Information Management and Methods department (CIMM) is responsible for the provision of efficient, effective and modern IT infrastructure and application services to support optimize and transform Bank s business process for developing Africa. Under the leadership of the Bank s Information System s Director, CIMM department is mandated by the Bank to deliver the best possible IT services for Bank staff, and help achieve the results that will get the Bank closer to accomplishing its development goals. The department has five divisions: (i) Business Solutions Development, (ii) Corporate Applications Services, (iii) Network & Telecom Services, (iv) Data Centers & Field Offices Services, and (v) Client Services. 2. OBJECTIVE 2.1. The Bank intends to engage the services of an independent consultant to serve as Technical Data Analyst (ETL Specialist) 2.2. The selected consultant will serve as an interface with business community, assess customer requirements, evaluate alternatives, and develop existing and new data content. 3. SCOPE OF THE SERVICES 3.1. The consultant responsibilities will include mainly the followings: Organize workshop with users to collect Requirements By domain, provide the list of reports to update, create and archive. PROFILE OF THE CONSULTANT 4.1. The incumbent should have the following skills: Master degree in computer science, software development or related business fields and/or equivalent work experience. Degree in computer science, software development or related business fields and/or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 2 years experience as a customer-facing Business Analyst within an IT organization A solid Oracle database knowledge: Oracle 11g\12c. Experience with the following products: Oracle Discoverer, and Oracle Data Integrator. Deep Knowledge and skills in data warehousing methodologies, BI technologies and tools. experience of Business Process Re-engineering and modeling. Ability to analyze, understand and effectively communicate Technical material to peers and management. analytical, problem solving, troubleshooting, and decision making skills. Very good knowledge and experience in the development of ODI knowledge and experience in the development of Talend experience on different ETL principles will be a plus.

7 Knowledge understanding of BI trends and model Expertise in the areas of Operations, Finance, Human Resources, missions and travel, acquisition of goods and services Experience of working with development agencies. Fluency in French or English Expertise in using tools such as "Microsoft Desktop Productivity Suite applications" including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to work under the dual pressures of time and the quality requirement Ability to interact with all stakeholder levels The Consultant shall provide technical support for a period of three months after the system going into production to ensure the quality of the delivered product. This support will be used to fix bugs and anomalies detected during the beginning 5. DURATION OF THE ASSIGNMENT 5.1. The contract is expected for 6 months. 6. LOCATION 6.1. The work will be carried out at the Bank Headquarters in Abidjan, Cote D Ivoire. 7. REPORTING 7.1. The consultant will work under the supervision of the Chief of Program Management Office. 8. REMUNERATION 8.1. The remuneration will be based on the Consultant experience and the Bank GUIDELINES ON INDIVIDUAL JUNIOR CONSULTANTS REMUNERATION.
