Required courses NUR650 Designing a Student Learning Environment (3 credits) Focuses on the faculty role, educational and learning theories, teaching strategies for diverse learners, and student academic performance. NUR655 Curriculum and Program Planning (3 credits) Focuses on curriculum and syllabus development, including theoretical frameworks and design, philosophical foundations, and selection of learning experiences to achieve outcomes. NUR660 Evaluation and Assessment in Nursing Education (3 credits) Designed to introduce the student to the evaluation process, including test construction, clinical performance assessment, program evaluation, and strategies for evaluating learning outcomes.
