4 Technical Guide REFERENCE The Ronde van Gelderland will be organized for the 51 st time in The current organizing Club de Adelaar has taken over the organization in 1971 and has organized up till last year 35 times the Ronde van Gelderland. Since 2003 the Ronde van Gelderland is part of the Dutch Woman Top competition. The Start at Omnisport and finish at the loolaan Apeldoorn Cycling Club A.R&T.V de Adelaar is founded in 1933, has at this moment about 700 members (racing and tour members) and is also involved in the organization of several small road races, track races and mountain bike events in the area of Apeldoorn. 5. 5 Technical Guide SPECIFIC REGULATIONS Article 1. Organization The De Ronde van Gelderland is organized by AR & TV de Adelaar, Postbox 155, 7300 AD Apeldoorn Under the regulations of the International Cycling Union. It is to be held on April 17 th Article 2. Type of event The race will be held under the rules of UCI. The event is open to athletes of the Women Elite category. The event is entered on the UCI World Women calendar and is registered as a class 2 event. In conformity with the UCI cycling regulations Part 2 Road Races version , article , points are awarded as follows for the UCI Women Elite ranking: 1 st =40pnt, 2 nd =30pnt, 3 rd =16pnt, 4 th =12pnt, 5 th =10pnt, 6 th =8pnt, 7 th =6pnt, 8 th =3pnt Article 3. Participation The event is open to the following teams: UCI Women Teams, National Teams, Regional Teams and Club Teams. Mix teams are allowed to start. Teams must be formed of minimum 4 and maximum 6 riders. Article 4. Race headquarters The race headquarters shall be open starting April 17 th 2016 at hrs and located at the following address: Omnisport Apeldoorn, Voorwaarts MA Apeldoorn Team representatives are requested to confirm their starters and collect their race numbers (and transponders for riders from abroad) at the race headquarters from hrs to hrs on the April 19 th The team managers' meeting, in the presence of the Members of the Commissaries Panel, is scheduled for hrs at the race headquarters. 6 Technical Guide 2016 Article 5. Race information The race has a total distance of 134,5 km. Start lists are available around hrs in the race headquarters, and around hrs at the start location. Neutralized start will be at hrs near Omnisport. Signing the presence list and the team presentation takes place from to hrs. Line up of the all cars takes place along Omnisport (see map). The feeding-zone is situated at the Rijksstraatweg at Voorst. Detour of vehicles is at 300m before the finish at the right sight of the road (See map). The finish of the race is around hrs. Official results are available around hrs in the race headquarters. Article 6. Classifications There is a general individual classification on time and a general team classification on time (based on the sum of the three best individual times for each team). Article 7. Radio-tour Race information will be broadcast on the following frequency: Article 8. Neutral technical support The neutral support is taken care of by means of 3 neutral cars. 1. Borculo 2000, 2. Borculo 2000, 3. Borculo 2000 (Motard) Article 9. Finishing time limits Any rider finishing in a time exceeding that of the winner by more than 8% shall not be placed. The time limit may, in exceptional circumstances, be increased by the Commissaries' Panel in agreement with the organizer. Article 10. 7 Technical Guide 2016 In accordance with the financial obligations of UCI 2% will be collected. Prizes are supplied by transferring to your bankaccount after disclosure of the official result at Omnisport Apeldoorn. Transferring the money will be done within 30 days to the bankaccount which is known by the organization after the disclosure of the official result at Omnisport Apeldoorn. Article 11. Anti-doping The UCI anti-doping regulations are entirely applicable to the event. The anti-doping tests will take place at OBS Heuvellaan, Burglaan 44, 7314 BM Apeldoorn Article 12. KNWU Topcompetition This event is part of the KNWU Topcompetition Series. The KNWU Topcompetition Series consist of 5 individual events, and is an overall classification for individual riders, under 23 riders and teams ordered by the national federation and gives riders also qualifying possibilities for the national road championships. The regulations and the awarding points for these classifications are available in the KNWU federal regulations. Article 13. Awards ceremony The following riders must attend the official awards ceremony: The first 3 riders of the general individual classification of the event, The new leader in the KNWU Topcompetition 2016, The new leader in the under 23 KNWU Topcompetition The riders will present themselves at the podium in a time limit of maximum 15 minutes after crossing the finish line. Article 14. Penalties The UCI penalty scale is the only one applicable. Article 15. Medical care Medical care during the race: Dr. Ad Blocks and his staff of Red Cross.
