Served as Vice-Premier, Minister for Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, Minister of State at the Chancellery of the President of Poland. In 1975, co-founded the Bank Gospodarki Żywnościowej, and in 1991, was among the founders of Spółdzielczy Bank Rozwoju co-operative development bank, as Vice- President. Author of a concept to establish a National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Resource Management and Bank Ochrony Środowiska S.A.; President of the Management Board of BOŚ S.A. for many years. Initiator of getting BOŚ S.A. listed on the GPW S.A. Warsaw stock exchange. Currently serves as Pro-Rector of a Higher School for Local Development in Żyrardów and lecturing professor there.
