At checkout, Jet determines which retailer can provide the best economic value for a transaction based on product location, buyer location and order details, such as product mix. But this new environment often means that a buyer makes multiple purchases from one seller over the course of a single day and checks out after each transaction. This means that for products that are net new to ebay and don t have a defined ebay category number the ebay Categorizer will ask ebay to suggest an ebay category value. That value is then stored in the product details when the seller is using any ebay interface. This value can be changed at a later date if needed. The ebay Categorizer is another helpful step toward automating the processes that are keeping you from focusing on the bigger picture. PRODUCT PERFORMANCE AND PRICING INSIGHTS FOR AMAZON Managing your product catalog on Amazon can be an arduous task. Sometimes you aren t sure if you re hitting the mark or missing it. With Product Performance and Pricing Insights, ChannelAdvisor puts key product information at your fingertips, helping you make decisions that can take your business to the next level. The Product Performance dashboard includes widgets that display insights into best-selling products and Buy Box ownership. With the Best Sellers widget, you see all the top sellers on Amazon, whether they re trending up or down and whether you stock each product. The widget also gives you visibility into Buy Box ownership and whether you re the Buy Box owner for a listing or not. When you want to dig into the details on a specific product, you can jump into the SKU-level Product Performance and Pricing view, where a storehouse of useful information awaits you: Your product information for title, cost, price and quantity How Amazon is promoting the item with the title and ASIN Whether you re the Buy Box owner, and if not, what price and shipping costs the owner is offering What errors are associated with the product Total sales counts and gross merchandise value (GMV) for the last 30, 60 and 90 days Total price performance with the Pricewatch graph plotting your price, the Buy Box owner s price and Amazon s price side by side over time. You can also view how your sales were affected by changes in price offers for the item. Having these insights arms you with the information you need to access your product performance and tweak your Amazon offers so they re performing at their best.
