4 In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful Introduction The Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission in the United States of America is pleased to present Directory of the Doctoral Dissertations of the Saudi Graduates from US Universities ( ). The purpose of publishing this directory is to provide readers, students, and researchers with the titles and related information concerning these doctoral dissertations in order to facilitate research in areas recommended by the authors. The directory also gives the opportunity to decision makers in public and private sectors to employ doctoral graduates in various fields of knowledge and to benefit from their expertise. By documenting these achievements the directory reflects the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission s respect and admiration for the authors. It also reflects the great efforts of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia in granting its young men and women scholarships to pursue their educational goals in order to participate in the Kingdom s development. In spite of its genuine efforts devoted to publishing the directory, the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission regrets that the directory does not include dissertations that have not been deposited in its library. Apology is also extended to authors of doctoral dissertations included in the directory for any unintentional mistakes, and requests that the authors provide the Cultural Mission with correct information. I would like to extend my thanks to my colleagues at the Saudi Arabian Cultural Mission for their tireless efforts. They have made this directory available to provide a reliable source of information to students and researchers in Saudi Arabia and elsewhere. Dr. Mazyed Ibrahim Almazyed The Cultural Attaché
