2 There is a host of advice sources in the Wiveliscombe and Ten Parishes area to help you set up, grow and develop your business. Whatever stage you are at- from concept to a mature business- this guide provides a quick reference to the support available. This guide was completed in 2015 by the Wiveliscombe and 10 parishes business group with the support of Taunton Deane Borough Council. Contact details on back cover. The 10 Parishes Business Group is run by local businesses, for local businesses. The aim is to support all types of business in the ten parishes area. 10pbg hold regular meetings that allow business networking, usually including a speaker and/or a presentation that is topical and relevant to members. 3 Business advice and support: Business Growth Service: Growth Acceleration and Information Network (GAIN)- website provides links to various business support programmes with brief explanations of what they offer and is a useful resource. 6 South West Investment Group Limited provides support and capital to small and medium enterprises in the South West The Design Programme- provide businesses with tailored advice, information and support so your business benefits from the power of design UK Trade and Investment (UKTI)- works with UK-based businesses to provide expert trade advice and practice support UnLtd- national social entrepreneurs scheme supports individuals directly, rather than businesses. The Government-backed British Bank lends through Funding Circle.
