Yes, I do. (= Yes, I do like acoustic music.) Do you like folk? No, I don t. (= No, I don t like folk.) So in your answer you repeat the auxiliary from the question. 34 3 My Hobbies James: Bristol is a great place to live. It s a big city, so there s lots to do. At the weekend, I often go out with friends. We go to nice pubs with live music and sometimes we go dancing. I listen to a lot of music and I like going to concerts. My favourite music is hip hop and rock music. I don t like jazz and I never listen to classical music. I play the piano and I have lessons on Thursday evenings. I like playing computer games. I do that almost every evening for about two hours. I don t watch a lot of TV, but I like watching DVDs. I like sport too. I go running two or three times a week in a park near my house. And I like to play basketball on a Saturday morning. When I m on holiday, I like to go the beach and eat out every day. I hate shopping for clothes, but Laura loves it. GRAMMAR: PRESENT CONTINUOUS To talk about actions that are happening now, you use the present continuous. The present continuous is formed like this: be + verb + -ing For example: She is playing badminton. They are cycling.
