Joint Doctorates moved to Marie Curie Action. Managed by EACEA. Open to the world. Open for joint calls. Credit mobility: full integration intra-eu/ international. Incoming and outgoing mobility based on university agreements. For students and staff. Managed by National Agencies. Open to the world, based on EU external policy priorities.

37 Key Action 2 : Cooperation Key action 2: Cooperation for innovation and good practices International dimension 1) Special action for Neighbouring countries, combining capacity building and mobility. Joint projects based on multilateral partnerships between higher education institutions from the EU and Neighbouring countries. 2) Capacity building in Higher Education: partnerships with HEIs from Asia, Latin America and Africa.

38 Key Action 2 : Cooperation Special action for Neighbouring countries (and non participating Enlargement countries): joint projects between EU and partner countries for capacity building (curriculum modernisation, staff training, modern teaching, governance, etc) with in-built mobility. Based on integration of Tempus and Erasmus Mundus (action 2) Action for Asia, Latin America, Africa: joint projects between EU and partner countries (incl. Triangular cooperation) for capacity building, based on experience from Alfa and Edulink
