The determination will also include the materials required for detours shown on the plans or requested by the Contractor. 3. The abandonment of mainline cleanouts shall be measured and paid as each and shall include excavation, removal, disposal or salvage of casting, placement of flowable fill, backfilling with suitable material, compacting, pavement patching, disposing of surplus or unsuitable material, top soiling, seeding, restoration and cleanup of property and for furnishing all materials, labor, tools, equipment and incidentals necessary to complete the work. 11/2012 Replace 2 with: 2. Measurement for mainline service wyes or tees for lateral service connections will be made separately. will include the cost of the following: a. Backfilling and compacting b. Compaction testing c. Bedding d. Dewatering e. Removal and disposal of existing sewer lateral, surplus and unsuitable material f. Excavation g. Flushing h. Lateral pipe and fittings, excluding sewer lateral cleanout assemblies and mainline wyes i. Restoration in right-of-way and easements (not including permanent pavement restoration) j. Stripping and stockpiling topsoil. Replacement of topsoil and reseeding. k. Temporary sheeting and bracing l. Testing m.
