4 Training Contents Dear Ladies and Gentlemen, dear colleagues, Since several years, solutions for the integration of a neuromonitoring system of the facial nerve within the surgical drill are available for surgery of the middle ear. In this 2-day course the programming and the application of the IONM integrated drill will be trained. Afterwards, the participants should be able to apply the system in a right and reliable way, in order to achieve a better and safer preparation of the petrous bone close to facial nerve surgery. Especially for the radical cavities of the ear as well as for the Cochlea implant (CI)-access to the round window obviously better results can be achieved.
