1 INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM The Master of Science in Information Technology is a special program which students can either enroll to study in the evenings or on the weekends. The purpose of this curriculum is to develop and exchange the knowledge and skills of postgraduates, from any field of study, who may have or may not have knowledge and/or experience in information technology. Students can study and understand the basic knowledge of information technology and advance their knowledge on network technology, software technology, and information technology management. This program creates an opportunity for continuity graduation and human resource management to support information technology development in Thailand. The Doctor of Philosophy in Information Technology curriculum was developed with the aim of producing researchers who are highly skilled and knowledgeable on par with international standards and to answer the needs of Thailand. This program aims to produce research work and create new knowledge in information technology, thus creating academic excellence and national development. The emphasis is on a conducting in-depth research by maximizing existing resources and cooperation with foreign university to instill academic excellence. M.Sc. Applicant qualifications Holds a bachelor degree or equivalent in any field and is knowledgeable in information technology Has at least one year work experience related to information technology, electronic business OR considered acceptable by the admission committee Has other qualifications as specified by University regulations on postgraduate study Ph.D. Applicant qualifications Holds a master degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering or other equivalent fields with a GPA of at least 3.50 OR has at least two years work or research experience in computer related areas. Passes an English requirement as specified by the School Has other qualifications as specified by University regulations on postgraduate study
