The recipients were honored during the 18th annual Women s Board press conference and reception, which took place Tuesday, Nov. 3, at the Sands Expo during the Automotive Aftermarket Products Expo (AAPEX). The Automotive Communications Awards are sponsored by the Women s Board and supported by the Automotive Communication Council. The awards recognize companies and agencies that provide automotive information through outstanding advertising, marketing and public relations efforts. Philips chose a vehicle junkyard scene to showcase its claim of longevity. The junkyard features a stack of vehicles that seemed ready for the metal crusher. The reverse lights and taillights on one of the vehicles in the stack are brightly lit and glowing.
