2 articulate the challenges and opportunities for school leaders in an ever evolving scenario create a road map for reinventing themselves based on their personality and context Topic: Walking the Road Session 4 11:30am 1:30pm Activity: Group Work/Reflection Managing People Constructive and analyze the challenges that keep them away Collaborative from the realization of stated roles and responsibilities and Leadership able to formulate initiatives necessary to motivate staff and students to meet these challenges by facilitating teamwork (delegating responsibility, providing autonomy and supporting innovation) Session 5 2:30pm 4:30pm Topic: Reinventing Yourself Activity: Case Study/ Discussion analyze the strengths and shortfalls of effective communication to reinvent themselves and demonstrate an understanding of the factors that influence and create barriers in actual communication DAY 3 TIME SESSION RESOURCE PERSON Topic: Building a Learning Culture The Learning Session 6 9:30am 11:00am Plan Activity: Reflective worksheets/discussion demonstrate the ability to make recommendations regarding the design, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum that fully accommodates learner s diverse

3 needs and demonstrate the ability to facilitate activities, that apply principles of effective instruction, for improved instructional practices and curricular materials for enhancing learning. Topic: From Groans to Grins Session 7 11:30am 1:30pm Activity: Policy Analysis/Discussion/Designing Templates outline the concerns and challenges of implementing CCE in their schools and develop an understanding of School Based Assessment-formative/summative assessment, assessing scholastic and co scholastic areas and utilization of assessment findings-for its operative implementation. Topic: Empowerment by Design Session 8 Activity: Situation Analysis/Reflective Exercises 2:30pm 4:30pm assess and evaluate teacher selection, recruitment, development and retentionprocesses and procedures devise suitable systems/plans for teacher performance, appraisal, evaluation and incentives for both personal and professional growth and design, create and implement well-planned, context-appropriate professional development programs, based on reflective practice and action research, consistent with school vision and goals. DAY 4 TIME SESSION RESOURCE PERSON Topic: No Future without a Past Session 9 8:30am 10:30am Activity: Case Analysis, Managing Institution Reflection on Leadership Analogies differentiate between change, innovation, reform and creativity to drive much needed changes identify the gap for change or innovation by defining the present and intended future of a given condition and
