17 2010: Not many student barriers Began using in 2006 Lectures captured & streamed while presented Special events captured (graduation, white coat) Can monitor who watched, when, & how often Accommodate different learning styles Access content 24x7 2010: Faculty barriers Concern students not attending lectures (**Attendance policy**) Difficult to lecture to an empty room Lectures open to everyone viewing **Bring faculty along
