Safety Tip Be safe on the road. Be Safe on the Road Always follow safe pedestrian practices, especially when crossing at intersections or walking along roadways. Be aware of traffic when unloading product and passengers from vehicles.

Safety Tip Be Streetwise Be streetwise Become familiar with the areas and neighborhoods where you will be selling Girl Scout Cookies

Safety Tip Do not enter. Do Not Enter Never enter the home or vehicle of a person when you are selling or making deliveries. Avoid selling to people in vehicles or going into alleys.

Safety Tip Protect Privacy Protect Privacy Girls names, addresses, or addresses should never be given out to customers. Use a group contact number or address overseen by an adult for customers to request information, reorder or give comments. Protect customer privacy by not sharing their information except for the product sale. Girls should never take credit card numbers.

Cookie Tip Get to know the cookies! Learn all about the Girl Scout Cookies so you can answer your customer s questions. How many cookie flavors can you name??

Cookie Tip Join the Club! Sign up for this powerful online tool that allows girls to send ecards with electronic cookie order forms to collect and track cookie orders. Its a great tool for setting and tracking goals too! All girls can use Cookie Club to collect orders from friends, family and former customers within council zip codes

Safety Tip Be Netwise Take the GSUSA Internet Safety Pledge before going online and follow the specific guidelines related to marketing online. Girl Scouts cannot collect money online.

Safety Tip Partner with Adults Partner with adults. Adults must accompany Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies and Juniors when they are taking orders, selling or delivering product. Girls grades 6-12 must be supervised by an adult when selling door-to-door and must never sell alone

Safety Tip Buddy Up Buddy up. Always use the buddy system. It s not just safe, it s more fun.

Cookie Tip Earn Cookie Badges Check out all these badges that you can earn through the Cookie Program! You can have fun learning, and earn badges too! Which badge will you earn?

Safety Tip Safeguard Money Safeguard Money Plan ahead. Always have a plan for safeguarding money. Avoid walking around with large amounts of it, or keeping it at home or school. Give proceeds to supervising adults, who should deposit it as directed by your Girl Scout council as soon as possible.

Safety Tip Booth Safety Adults should be present at a cookie booth in any public place at all times.

Cookie Tip Set a Package Goal Set a Package Goal Learn how to set a challenging goal and reach it! Plus you can have fun, learn, and help others along the way! What s your package goal?

Cookie Tip Set a Fun and Learning Goal Set a Fun & Learning Goal Be sure to plan with your troop/group some things that you can do with your cookie money for fun and learning. What s your activity goal?

Cookie Tip Practice your Pitch! A practiced sales pitch is a triedand-true technique of successful sales people. Find a fun way to practice with your friends and family!

Cookie Tip What s your favorite? With so many great cookies, it s hard to choose! Show your support for your favorite cookie by dressing in the color of your favorite cookie s box, or by painting your nails the color of your favorite cookie box!

Cookie Tip Money Matters Be sure to know your cookie prices, and practice counting out correct change. Find out If your troop accepts checks, and if they do, be sure to know who they should make the checks out to.

Cookie Tip Customers... they re everywhere! Where will you find your customers? Make a list of places or methods you can use to find your customers - and watch your sales grow!

Rally Tip Pick up your Cookie Safety BINGO card here! Carry your BINGO card with you throughout the Rally. Look for signs like this one with Safety Tips and Cookie Tips to collect stamps on your BINGO card!

Cookie Tip Savvy Signage Get creative and let the world know It s Cookie Time! Whether you hang it up or wear it, whether you place it in your yard, at your cookie booth, or on a family member s office door, whether you make it on recycled cardboard, poster board or a paper bag, be sure to make your signs colorful and creative!
