1 JCMSC Newsletter Jersey Cape Military Spouses Club A New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation P.O. Box 2354, Cape May, NJ Volume 6, Issue 10 JCMilitarySpousesClub@gmail.com May 2014 Greetings JCMSC, It's May and so it begins, out with the old and in with the new (Board that is). This is such an important month for the club as we install the new Board at our general meeting on Saturday, May 10th. This 2nd annual Change of Hand dinner is a free catered event and a great opportunity to say goodbye to our departing members. Please consider joining us and don't forget to RSVP via FB event or contact me by phone or by May 5th. On Monday, May 12th we will host our annual Educational Awards Ceremony at Ida Lewis from 7:30-8:30pm. Everyone is invited, including spouses and children! There will be coffee and dessert, a perfect after dinner activity that also shows support for the clubs fund raising efforts. If you are interested in providing a easy to serve dessert, the Board would be so grateful. There is a signup started on our FB event page. Finally, I wanted to take a moment to thank my Board and Committee Chairwomen for all their support this year. The club had such a successful and fun year and it is all because of your dedication and hard work. I couldn't have ask for a better group of women to work with and I will miss you all dearly!!! As I end my final president's letter, the only thing that comes to mind is a song from The Sound of Music, one of my favorite childhood movies. And so I leave you with tears on my cheeks and these words... So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, adieu. So long, farewell, auf wiedersehen, goodbye. I leave and heave a sigh and say goodbye, goodbye. Mishann President HARBORFEST IS JUNE 14 TH! We are looking for some volunteers to help set up and take down the Coastie Corner.
