1 Caller Identification ID (CNAM) Description: CNAM is the wireless Caller Name that displays on a caller id capable wire line device. Functionality: CNAM can now be modified and captured via the web from two different locations behind user authentication. 1.) From the Device listing section of the My Account Landing page 2.) From the Things I can manage online of the My Preference page The functionality has some intricacies: 1. Bulk capabilities are not available (Account Level) 2. Roles that have access to the functionality upon release (Account Owner and Account Authorized), Testing is being conducted now for the (Sub Account) role, and the (Corporate Owner) role requires some additional system analysis to determine how we can provide the functionality to this role with an acceptable experience. 3. Govt account type and sub types (AT/ST s) Previously this segment only had the option to use (Private, Unavailable). As of June 2014, government accounts have the ability to use all Caller ID options: Custom/Wireless Customer/Private/Unavailable. 4. Functionality threshold drives experience Users that have 100 subs or less will have the ability to create or select caller names for up to six subs at a time using the (Apply to all numbers below) option once the (Caller ID Name) link is clicked from

2 either the (Device Listings) section or the (Things I can do online) section. 5. Users that have greater than 7 subs will have the ability to set for 1 and apply to any other subscription listed on the current page 6. 7 devices or more also initiate pagination 7. Users that have greater than 100 subscriptions will not have the same experience as those with 100 or less subscriptions. The greater than 100 experience prompts the user to contact care or perform the caller name ID changes one at a time from the My Account Landing page under the device listing section. 8. Special characters are not allowed, with the exception of some business used special characters, such as Anpersand (&), Comma (,), Apostrophy ( ), Period (.), Hyphen (-), and the at symbol (@). 9. Profanity is prohibited, so if the term is in our database as profanity an error message will be presented to the user to change the custom caller id to something acceptable by the system. 10. There are four caller name ID options Custom, Wireless Caller, Private, and Unavailable 11. The Custom option allows for the user to create a Caller ID, such as Tom & Jerry s BBQ Pit. 12. Users that have multiple subscriptions on their account will be prompted to change or set the caller id on all subscriptions once they ve attempted to set one. A message is presented to the user when they set one caller id and have other subscriptions where the caller id has not been set. Screen prints:

3 Where users access caller id name: Device Listing Section: From the My Account Landing page access point 1 Click the link labeled (Caller ID name) - When a caller name ID has not been created there will be a default - The default for caller ID will be displayed as such and only from the My Account Landing page: Caller name ID is not set - Once you ve clicked the Caller ID label you will be navigated to a modal where you can change the caller id for any of the subscriptions listed or you can created or select a caller ID name that you can apply to all subscriptions listed on the current page by using the (Apply to all numbers below option). You will have to

4 repeat that process for subsequent pages by going to the next page via clicking the numeric page number you want to go to. Note: When the user clicks the Caller name ID and they have greater 100 subscriptions they will be presented with a message that prompts them to contact care to make Caller name ID changes or have them go to the My Account Landing page under the Device Listing section to preform those changes one at a time. If the have 100 or less they will get the experience listed in the screen print below.

5 Pagination Once you ve made your changes click the (Save) button and wait for about 15 minutes for the update to be displayed. From the My Preference Landing Page access point 2

6 Click the Change Caller ID name link and you will be navigated to the modal to make your change.

7 After you ve created or selected your caller name ID option click save and you will get a confirmation prompt at the top of the page telling you your changes have been saved. See screen print below:

8 All changes take about 15 mintues to update via the web.
