1 TRP 2202HF Spiritual Formation in the Anglican Tradition Wednesdays 9-11a.m. Room TC 22 (Trinity College main building) Dr Lisa Wang: Fr Dan Tatarnic: SCHEDULE OF READINGS & ASSIGNMENTS Assignments: Seminar Presentation (25%): Each student is required to lead a class seminar on the readings and themes of a given week. The seminar leader will present to the class: three major points of interest related to the readings, along with three questions for discussion, based on the readings. The seminar leader will distribute a one to two page synopsis of the presentation to the class. The seminar leader is responsible for facilitating the class discussion on the day of presentation. Essay (25%): To be completed after the seminar presentation, on the theme / topic of the seminar. Taking the feedback and learning generated from the class discussion (colloquium), each student will draw the seminar segment to a close by submitting an essay between 10 to 15 pages in length. The essay will be written on the same topic as the seminar, but ought to show evidence of new content, insights and integration generated through the seminar colloquium. Due date: No later than December 18, Colloquium: collaborative learning community (50%): Requirements: weekly participation in class, evidence of engagement with readings / themes, interaction with others. The student is expected, both individually and within a student body, to take initiative in advancing his/her own and other persons awareness and understanding of course content.
