4 EMP Monitor is a tool that helps to maintain trust with a remote, timely based work with the company. A client application is installed on the PC of a remote staff to monitor their work output. The system takes screenshots of the workers desktop about every 1 minute. The screenshots are uploaded to the Database in the server. From there a manager can view the data captured from each worker they manage. Additionally, EMP Monitor automatically creates a timesheet, based on the hours that a worker was actively logged into the system. By viewing the screenshots created when the user was actively logged into EMP Monitor, a manager can verify and approve the hours on a timesheet. This system is thus one of the most accurate ways to manage and track the working and Non-working hours of the remote user. By using EMP Monitor, companies are able to offer stable, full time work to their remote based staff. Without a tool like EMP Monitor, a company has no idea how long a remote staff member really takes to finish a task, or whether the remote staff member did the task themselves. By viewing the EMP Monitor screenshots, and timesheet that EMP Monitor creates for the remote staff member, a manager can precisely measure the value of their remote work force!
5 EMP Monitor Requires Cooperation: EMP Monitor is a tool that benefits both remote staff members, and company management. Remote workers do in -fact, give up some privacy. Their manager can see what is on their desktop, what software applications they are running, and what tasks they are working on during the course of their work day. However, EMP Monitor was designed with consideration for the privacy of remote workers as well. EMP Monitor will only track a worker, while they are actively logged into the EMP Monitor software. If the worker changes their status to 'On Break', or logs out of the software, no screenshots will be uploaded, and their time is not added to their timesheet. This is important, if a worker needs to quickly check their personal or bank information, or even just take some time off to read the news or chat with friends in the production hours will be notified.
6 1.0 Admin End: Introduction to Admin panel: Here, the admin will be able to login, edit, view, delete and modify details of the organization, employee and lot of details related to the monitoring system of the employees. Admin Panel will have a structured view of the reports of the employee that you have in your company. Under Employee Panel you can easily Add details of new employees, edit details of already added ones, getting reports, Viewing the screenshots. After registering your organization login with your admin credentials through the provided link:
7 Admin panel login: Admin Log In platform: For accessing Admin Platform you will be provided with the admin credentials. Use the login credentials provided and easily login to the Admin platform to create and access the data. After clicking on login admin needs to fill the login credentials and Sign in.
8 Introduction to UI: Here you can view how the User interface for admin panel looks like. Admin can view, add, delete and modify the details of the employee.
9 Adding an Employee: After logging into admin panel and scroll down, here you can view how to add an employee in to the portal.
10 Report Generation: For viewing details of a particular employee, you need to click on View Details. Once you have clicked on the view details button it will open all the details of the employee, here you can get details like get report, above of that enter for which month you want the report, Once you click on get report it will generate report for the employee.
11 Getting and Editing User details: After admin login, in the right side of every user list in the table, "View Details" hyperlink is present. Upon clicking the hyperlink, Admin can View, add, edit and delete details, screenshots and user log details. For editing details of an existing employee you can click on edit details.
12 Troubleshooting: Whenever you are unable to connect with Admin Panel "don't panic". just follow these steps one by one Make sure you are connected to internet. For login issues: Make sure the credentials you are using is correct. Crashed/Update/server issues: Contact our team : Do a Hard refresh in your browser by pressing CTRL + F5 Clear your cache and cookies and try again.
13 2.0 User End: Installation: Download the setup from the provided link in website. After downloading setup it will be saved in downloads as a zip file with a name EMS_Setup. Open the zip file and extract the files where you want to, after extraction is completed it ll create a folder named EMS_Setup.
14 In the setup folder you can see two files click on setup.exe file (executable file) through which you can start the installation process. Once you click on setup.exe file EMP monitoring system wizard will start, click on next to go on for further installation process..
15 Choose any path to change the location of the software for installation. Just me option will be by default so that apart from you no one can log in on your PC.
16 Click on next to go for further process. Please wait for few moments to get the installation process complete..
17 Click on close to finish the installation process..
18 Icons Introduction: Double click on icon to get started with software.
19 Getting Started: Click on signup to get started.
20 Sign up: If you are not an existing user you need fill all the required details over here. Fill the details in those fields like username, id, password, User type, Mobile number, Department, Company, Location.
21 Username: Give the name of the particular person to whom the credentials are going to be filled. ID & Password: Enter the id of the person and it s respective password. User type: Admin - Can add employee of a particular company, View and Edit details of Employees, View Screenshots, User Log Details and Reports. Employee - Employee of the company. Will be registered in Admin panel as an employee. Mobile : Enter the user s mobile number. Department : Enter the designation of the employee. Company : Enter the company name. Location : If you have more than a single branch it would be useful to make the selection accordingly.
22 Sign in: Once the sign up process is completed click on Sign in
23 Once you click on Sign in you will be redirected to here. Enter your details like ID and Password, If you don t want to re-enter your details again and again, Click on Remember me check box and login.
24 Status: After successful login you can change status like online, away, on break, busy, etc according to your work.
25 Work details: You can update your working details over here to notify you current task.
26 Uninstall Application: Do not uninstall the software while it is running or stop it before uninstalling. To uninstall application click windows button ( ) on keyboard or and go to control panel. Go to uninstall program in control panel.
27 Select Employeemonitoringsystem in control panel and right click on it, click on uninstall. After clicking on uninstall button you will get confirmation to quit uninstall or not. Click on Yes. Please wait for few moments to go for further process. If some of the process or services are running background it will show this popup and click ok to finish the uninstallation.
28 Troubleshooting: Whenever you are unable to use software "don't panic". just follow these steps one by one Make sure you are connected to internet. For login issues: Make sure the credentials you are using is correct. Crashed/Update/server issues: Contact our team : Uninstall emp monitor: Windows Instructions: Close the application Go to the Start menu > Control Panel. (Windows 7/8) Click Programs and Features. Double-click Emp monitor. Click Uninstall from the confirmation dialog.
29 3.0 Screenshots History: EMP Monitor provides you screenshots monitoring taken every 5 seconds while remote users are working with their EMP Monitor client software running. EMP Live Monitor Dashboard has a paginated screenshot gallery that allows you to scan over your remote user's active screen throughout the day. Admin or Company Manager who have the access to the admin panel can view the screen shots of the remote user. Captures Screenshot: It will capture screen shots for every five seconds and stores in the Admin panel.. You can view all this data in the server itself.
30 How to check login and logout time: It will notify the login and logout time in the Admin panel.

32 How to check working and Non-working hours: After starting the software once you have logged in it will start calculating employee s working and Non-Working hours.
33 4.0 Keystrokes Recording: Captured Keystrokes: Keystrokes data consist of keywords which have been entered via keyboard. EMP Monitor differentiates the raw keystrokes data including functional keys like shift, ctrl, backspace, mouse clicking and all other alphanumeric keys. EMP Monitor presents this keystrokes data as a Raw Data and Formatted Data in the dashboard.
34 5.0 Worker status Tracking: EMP Monitor keeps track on the status of the remote workers (online, busy, away, on break, out for meal, in meeting) from the time they signed-in until they signed-out or exit their Employee Monitoring System client software. A dropdown list of statuses are given on his EMP Monitor client software. Administrators can track remote user's working status through the status logs in the dashboard. The status logs lets you have a detailed information regarding your remote user's time-in and time-out, break time and idle times. Track user Log Timings:
35 Alive User is actively working on his workstation, having keystrokes and mouse activities EMP Monitor considers status: Online, Busy, Out for meal, and In meeting as 'Alive Status'. When the user did not have keystroke or mouse activities for 4 minutes, It will automatically set these statuses to 'Away'. Away User has been away from the computer after a specific duration. EMP Monitor is currently set to change alive status to Away after 4 minutes of no activity (no mouse movement or keystrokes recorded). On Break This is a status that is set manually by the remote user. Monitoring is disabled when this status is active, thus, keystrokes and screenshots will not be displayed on the dashboard. Note that EMP Monitor will not consider the time when the user is in 'On Break' as a working time of the user.
36 6.0 Activity Tracking: EMP Monitor allows remote users to immediately post updates about their work by changing the status message on their EMP Monitor software client. You can save your task, notes while doing any kind of work so that it will be stored in dashboard. These notes are compiled monthly and can be accessed by administrators through the dashboard.
37 7.0 Secure Monitoring: Secure monitoring of employees: Employee Monitoring System provides you secure monitoring by allowing you to create accounts that will only be authorized to view and manage the dashboards of your remote users. Admin: Can add employee of a particular company, View, Edit and delete details of Employees, View Screenshots, User Log Details and Reports. Employee: Employee of the company. Will be registered in DB as an employee.
38 8.0 Reports: Get Reports in pdf format: EMP Monitor not only allows you to view the work data of the remote users in the Employee Monitoring System website but also to generate a user- easy to read reports compiling remote user s Status Log History, Activity Tracking, Keystrokes recording and Screenshots History of the worker's data in pdf format.
