The vacancies are based at Lancashire Cnstabulary Headquarters, Huttn, Prestn. The site is accessible by public transprt and there is als free unlimited car parking n site. This is an exciting pprtunity t becme part f a large custmer fcussed team. The successful candidates will gain knwledge in varius aspects f the department, which include emplyee relatins and rganisatinal change team and recruitment and selectin. The Emplyee Relatins & Organisatinal Develpment (EROD) Team have respnsibility fr a variety f areas in supprting the HR department and wider rganisatin. The team deal with plicy develpment, frce-wide resurcing and restructuring, grievance reslutin, and als have respnsibility fr the HR Self Service Prtal and HR HelpDesk; a dedicated service prviding supprt t staff and line managers with HR queries Successful applicants need t be able t demnstrate effective cmmunicatin thrughut the recruitment prcess as this will be required shuld yu be appinted. HR Assistants will be expected t wrk within any team within the department based n rganisatinal need. Grade: LC 4 5 Salary: 17,370-21,402 per annum KEY RESULT AREAS Assist the Team Leaders in the delivery f a custmer fcussed administrative service ensuring that the Cnstabulary meets all HR pririties in relatin t Recruitment/Payrll and Prcessing/Peple Services and Emplyee Relatins and Organisatinal Develpment. Deal with internal and external enquiries by telephne, crrespndence r persnal cntact and t liaise with divisins and departments, staff assciatins and external rganisatins as required. Assist in the develpment and implementatin f Human Resurces administrative prcedures t facilitate effective and efficient wrking practices. Update, amend and maintain persnal recrds, general files and cmputerised systems in an apprpriate manner, utilising them t deal with enquiries. Assist in the preparatin and analysis f management infrmatin, prducing reprts and statistics as required. T take a pr-active apprach t prblem slving which fcuses n slutins aiming fr cntinuus imprvement in the services prvided T prvide effective and curteus liaisn with custmers bth internally and externally such as Recruitment Agencies/ Emplyers/Inland Revenue, Benefits Agency, divisins and departments etc. T be respnsible fr the day t day prcessing f HR transactins such as, but nt exclusive t, recruitment prcessing, starters and leavers, payrll prcessing, statutry and cntractual sick and maternity pay schemes, administratin f childcare vucher scheme, flexible wrking requests, resurcing, attendance, rganisatinal develpment etc. Supprt the wrk f ther teams within HR as required in rder t meet peratinal demand. Whilst the pst hlder will have a primary rle within the department, there is an expectatin that there will be an integratin f the HR teams as required t meet rganisatinal needs. T ensure cmpliance with frce plicies and prcedures. T carry ut related duties r prjects as required in the interests f departmental effectiveness.
