Duties included daily management of live-in caregiving and respite staff, problemsolving with behavioral issues among the children, insuring compliance with agency policies and state laws, programming and volunteer coordination, supervision of the after-school program, staff training, and helping to promote a safe and secure environment for the clients. PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Pastoral Ministry Pastor, Browning Road Baptist Church, Lithia, Florida. present Duties include preparing and delivering sermons, teaching, planning for and leading Sunday worship, administering church business affairs, and offering pastoral counseling as needed Senior Pastor, Christ Community Church, Brandon, Florida. Responsibilities consisted of preparing and delivering sermons, teaching, as well as providing leadership, pastoral care, administration, and staff oversight. Major ministry emphases have been in teaching, counseling, and equipping others to participate in caring and prayer ministry. Provided pastoral counseling to individual and couples, working with such issues as depression, sexual abuse recovery, marital conflict, divorce recovery, and a variety of adjustment issues. Trained lay counselors in listening skills and prayer ministry and helped start a recovery ministry for survivors of sexual abuse. Accomplishments over my 16-year tenure included: Developing a unified elder board, leading the congregation successfully through a $1.3 million dollar facilities expansion project, overseeing the merger of CCC with a sister church, mentoring three youth pastors, and developing a cross-cultural ministry partnership with the Ambassadors of Jesus network in Haiti, which included five humanitarian trips to Port-Au-Prince Associate Pastor, Calvary Bible Church, Kalamazoo, Michigan. Served in several staff capacities, including worship and music, Christian education, and interim teaching pastor. Responsibilities included service planning, development of an evening service praise team,

5 supervision of ministry directors overseeing programs involving about 200 workers and 800 participants, and conducting training seminars.
