3 Introduction This document describes how to configure a wireless card in a workstation running with Microsoft Windows 7 operating system, to connect to the network through eduroam user Authentication using EAP-TTLS SecureW2. 1 Initial Checks 1.1 Operative System Compatibility with EAP-TTLS Service Pack 1 or later already support EAP-TTLS. 8 After pressing "Setup" in the "Connection" tab we will configure the user responsible of establishing the tunnel with the server. This parameter is very important, especially if you want to access to eduroam from outside the UPC, as it tells the system which domain will have to validate the credentials. You also have to select the option "Enable quick resumption of session. On the "Certificates" tab, select the option "Check for server certificate" to tell the SecureW2 to trust the certification authority issuing the certificates used in the eduroam connection. 12 APPENDIX: How to add new wireless card drivers If the wireless card driver on your computer is not compatible with the encryption method, you can update the driver.
