1 AG CancerCare from American General Life Insurance Company (American General Life) is a specified disease policy that pays benefits for expenses related to the diagnosis and treatment of cancer, as well as other cancerrelated expenses. Benefits are paid without regard to coverage from other health insurance policies. Specific benefits are outlined in the table below. Surgical Schedule Two or more surgical procedures performed at the same time through the same incision or in the same area will be deemed one surgery, the surgery with the highest surgical benefit. For any surgical procedure not listed on the surgical schedule, American General Life will determine the amount on a basis consistent with the schedule; the amount will not be greater than $5,000 for the plan for any surgical benefit not listed, or not greater than 25 percent of the surgical benefit for any anesthesia benefit.
