Unfortunately the inability to teach others is a common weakness found among staff with internal expertise, who often lack the skills to: Dissect their actions in a meaningful way. Relate to and effectively communicate with other less experienced staff. Contextualise their ideas. Provide a learning framework for others to follow. We overcome this issue by providing our intrinsic expertise as the core element of the TRAIN YOUR WAY process, in order to deliver your content in a highly powerful and effective manner. We work with your internal subject matter experts (SMEs) to shape their training into a useful form which will significantly improve the transfer of their ideas to other staff. Ultimately, TRAIN YOUR WAY TM enables you to conduct more relevant and effective training, on almost any topic, at a lower cost. TOPICS The Train Your Way process revolves around 60 to 90 minute Virtual Training sessions which each cover a single topic (or a series of sessions covering a series of topics) of your choice. Your experience can incorporate any number of modules, to meet your specific training objectives. We ask you to nominate 1-3 internal experts on each given topic. These are members of your staff with demonstrated ability, experience or results in each area, who will then be responsible for generating and delivering their own content on the topic. In other words, your business begins to model key behaviours, tools used, processes followed and outcomes obtained around the example of these internal experts. This begins the process of unlocking your internal knowledge: best practices are shared between your business units or geographic locations and new ideas are formed as these best practices are combined or adapted into each area. Since your internal experts also speak the unique language of your company they are able to: Successfully relate ideas within your culture. 5 TRANSFER The TRAIN YOUR WAY process takes full advantage of our cutting-edge Virtual Classroom technology to optimise the efficiency of your training. The process is as follows: We provide 30 minutes of Virtual Training for your subject matter experts (SMEs), to introduce them to the Virtual Classroom so they are confident with the environment and give them guidance on how to prepare their content materials. Your SMEs then submit their initial materials (e.g. Power Point presentations, case studies, example handouts, templates) to our instructional design experts for review and we suggest appropriate interactions and activities for the live sessions. Your SMEs prepare the content for these interactions (e.g. scenarios, quizzes or case studies) as advised and return them to our technical team for addition to the Virtual Classroom. We finalise all materials and interactions for the live sessions and prepare the Virtual Classroom for delivery. Using our revolutionary Live Virtual Training platform, we work with your SMEs to jointly deliver a powerful, live interactive 90 minute Virtual Classroom session. During the sessions, one of our skilled facilitators acts as MC like a radio host to welcome your participants and introduce the session. Once the session begins, our facilitator moderates as your SMEs present their content: Asking questions and engaging in dialogue with your SMEs to help them clarify or expand on their ideas. Moderating questions from participants for your SMEs. Running the prepared interactions and activities to involve participants in the learning. Managing the presentation of your SME to time and topic. This process allows your SMEs to focus on what they know best content while our facilitator focus on what they know best transfer. Our Virtual Classroom allows for a highly flexible and engaging training process. The interplay between our facilitator and your SMEs, as well as the interaction from participants (who are able to ask live questions of the SME and participate in live activities such as case studies, quizzes, debates, scenario analysis, document reviews, best practice sharing, voting and more), delivers unforgettable training that is interactive, engaging and stimulating. We conduct training activities which draw your participants into the training, engage with multiple learning styles and guide your employees on an entertaining, educational journey of discussion and discovery from the comfort of their own desk.

6 LOGISTICS Your participants can join your TRAIN YOUR WAY TM training experience from their own computer anywhere in Australia. For large businesses, we can offer you more than one session on each topic, allowing flexibility for your participants to join one of several sessions and further improving their engagement in the process. We manage all the administrative functions of the training enrolment, set-up, facilitation and reporting. For CDP purposes, we can provide both a recording of the event and full reporting on attendees. As an optional extra, we can assist or provide pre- or post- assessment of your participants to boost learning transfer or assist you with CDP measurement. For example, we can run post-session assessments of how your participants have implemented the lessons learnt in the session, including examples of client discussions, demonstrations of skill or assessments of knowledge. We utilise three typical session sizes in our Virtual Classrooms: Small groups of around 25. These are typical training and coaching sessions, which mirror the level of activity and intensity of a physical workshop. They are most suitable when teaching new skills, transferring content knowledge or sharing between participants. Medium groups of around 50. These are typical Q&A style sessions, resembling team debriefs. There is still a reasonable amount of interaction (chat, written Q&A, scenarios, polls) with the group size making management of the Q&A component realistic. These sessions are most suitable when the audience already has knowledge of the content and is now fine-tuning their understanding or putting the content into context. Large groups of 100 or more. These are generally a presentation-style delivery, resembling keynote presentations or town hall meetings. There can be some basic interaction, but largely they involve a flow of information from the speaker to the listeners. Q&A sessions at this level become more selective, as the number of participants and their questions can challenge the available time. We work with you to determine the appropriate size to balance the effectiveness and efficiency of the process for your business. Train Your Way With Consulting

7 INVESTMENTS Our standard investments for TRAIN YOUR WAY TM are: Up to 20 participants: VOIP two-way audio: $1,250 + GST per 60 minute session and $1,500 + GST per 90 minute session Phone two-way audio: $1,450 + GST per 60 minute session and $1,750 + GST per 90 minute session 21 to 50 participants: $1,750 + GST per 60 minute session and $2,000 + GST per 90 minute session VOIP one-way audio: $1,750 + GST per 60 minute session and $2,000 + GST per 90 minute session 51 to 100 participants: VOIP one-way audio: $2,250 + GST per 60 minute session and $2,500 + GST per 90 minute session These training costs are inclusive of almost everything associated with the training including: A 30 minute preparation session and preparation guidelines for your SMEs. Two reviews of your SMEs materials. Creation and set-up of your Virtual Classroom. Enrolment and reporting on participation. Facilitation of the Virtual Classroom session. Recording of the session and playback for participants for three months. Your TRAIN YOUR WAY TM sessions are delivered via a computer-based audio (VOIP) system. Each of our participants requires audio on their computer via a computer headset, headphones or speakers. For smaller groups of <20 participants, we can test your IT system to see if twoway audio is possible (needs fast broadband at your business). If we decide two-way audio is critical for smaller groups (role-plays, questions, discussions) we can, and prefer, to utilise our integrated phone conference facility, so participants can simply join from any phone. For groups of >21 participants, we always utilise one-way VOIP audio broadcasts for participants. The host and presenters will join via their phone, but our virtual classroom will broadcast their audio to participants via VOIP. This keeps the investment for large groups manageable. We can record each session and make it available for playback to attendees at no extra charge for a period of three months. Alternatively, if you would like to acquire the recording permanently, for hosting on your own systems or distribution to a wider audience, a small licensing fee can be agreed. We then provide you with a copy of the recording in a video format of your choosing.

8 EXAMPLES TRAIN YOUR WAY TM is a highly flexible knowledge capture process which can be utilised in a range of ways. Here are just a few examples of how you may be able to use TRAIN YOUR WAY TM to rethink your entire approach to knowledge and training in your business. MANAGEMENT PEER GROUP With managers scattered around Australia, you could fly all the participants to a single location for a one-off management training day at a considerable cost, and for just a single event. Alternatively, you could have your managers give examples of what they are doing at your regular monthly management conference call while other participants sit passively listening on the phone. Alternatively, you could establish a management peer group with TRAIN YOUR WAY TM. Working with us, you map out the top ten attributes managers within your business need to focus on. We then draw upon your more experienced managers and assign them to each topic based on their existing strengths. We also utilise existing best practice knowledge on the internet in each area for pre-session reading and a (free) closed LinkedIn discussion group for further sharing. Each month we run a live 90 minute training event on a new management topic while also conducting discussions on live management issues within the business. In total, participants gain new knowledge on an on-going basis, boost their internal knowledge sharing, capture best practices for future managers and become more engaged with their peers and their roles. All this without leaving their offices, and at less than the cost of a traditional one-day workshop. INTERNAL PROCESS TRAINING You have a clearly defined internal process for a particular product. The problem is that few staff are using it, or even aware of it. Working with us, we map out the process into six steps, best delivered in three training sessions. You then assign experts from within the business for each step and we prepare a TRAIN YOUR WAY TM experience. Your staff join three 60 minute Virtual Training sessions from their own desks every three weeks to review the process from end to end with your internal experts their peers. Real-life examples are discussed, questions are raised and answered, and understanding is tested. Outside the sessions, all staff begin implementing the new process and providing feedback on outcomes, hurdles and questions. These are highlighted and answered at the next Virtual Training session which are optionally captured and added to your internal knowledge database for existing staff to revisit and new staff to complete as part of induction. SALES OUR WAY ACADEMY You have new staff joining the business that need to understand the best techniques to promote and sell your products and services. You could send them to an external sales training course (even our fantastic Sell With Trust training experience!) where they learn an approximation of your internal sales processes which they adapt to fit. Alternatively, you could establish a Sales Our Way Academy with TRAIN YOUR WAY TM. You speak with your top sales professionals and map out the eight critical steps in your sales process; for example, client interviews, to typical client objections to key differentiators. You nominate 1-2 internal sales professionals to each of the steps in the process and, working with us, they prepare their key thoughts, scenarios and tips. In order to share best practices within the business, we begin with a series of eight 60 minute Virtual Training sessions for all sales staff to participate in with each session covering a new step in the process, led by your nominated experts but with additional input from all participants. We capture the sessions for replay and add them to your internal website for new sales staff to review in the future. Optionally we organise internal competitions on each topic to promote best practice in the field and/or utilise modules from our own sales training experience (Sell With Trust ) to fill any knowledge gaps missing from within the business. You get a complete sales training experience, focused entirely on your company with your own valuable, untapped internal knowledge supplemented by external training only where needed a captured for future use. 9 FAQS Q. Should we choose Workshop or Virtual Editions? A. This decision depends on several factors including learning preferences, participant locations, available time, travel considerations and training investment. Both are good options and the content and processes are the same. All that is changing is the method of delivery of the live training events. Virtual Editions. Live Virtual Training allows you to train more people, in more places, at a lower cost. It is ideal if you want reach remote workers or bring together people from a number of locations, and is often also used even when participants share the same location. Participants can also review offline versions of the sessions so they can revisit the training whenever they like, which can significantly improve learning retention and maximise the return on your investment. Not to mention the savings you make on travel, accommodation and employee time away from the office. Our Virtual Editions are also able to pace out the training over many sessions, which can boost implementation. Workshop Editions. Onsite Workshops are more suited to participants who are easily able to gather in a central location (working in the same office or perhaps gathering for a related event like a conference). They may suit some learning styles or demographics. Workshops enjoy a physical presence which may also be beneficial for team building or other goals outside of pure learning transfer. Q. Where are you located and where do you hold Workshops? A. We are based in Brisbane, Australia. If you are undertaking a Workshop Edition of a training experience or thinking about us for your event, its quite simple - we conduct training and events Australia wide. We have run Workshops in Darwin, Cairns, Townsville, Rockhampton, Gladstone, Gympie, Sunshine Coast, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Canberra, Newcastle, Hunter Valley, Sydney, Wollongong, Yarra Valley, Melbourne, Geelong, Adelaide and Perth and elsewhere. If you are looking at a Virtual Edition of a training experience, well we train anywhere. We have trained clients we have never physically met (not even management) in multiple sessions in Perth, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo from here in Brisbane. Q. How does Live Virtual Training actually work? A. You can read a lot more about this topic at our dedicated Live Virtual Technology page on our website. But briefly, at the specified times of your sessions, participants log on to our Virtual Classroom from their own computer using a computer headset (or individual phone line). The software opens on their computer and they can see the names of the facilitator(s) and other participants. They can also interact with a variety of shared portals chat boxes, surveys/quizzes/polls, voting, scenario assessments, downloads, videos, webcams, emoticons, handouts, screen shares and more. Participants can also hear the facilitator talking and, at times, will be able to talk live with the facilitator and other participants ask questions, complete role-plays, join a panel, provide solutions, make a comment. The facilitator guides participants through the training process, just like in an onsite workshop. Working together, participants interact with each other, their facilitator and training activities to engage with the learning content. It s just like a normal training workshop; instead we are sharing a Virtual Classroom rather than a physical classroom. We encourage you to read more on our website where we answer LOTS of questions about the Virtual Classroom. Q. How do you keep participants focused during Live Virtual Training? A. In all training, regardless of whether it is held in a workshop or virtual environment, a participant s mind will wander if they are not engaged with the training. It s not the delivery method that is the problem; it s the design of the training! This is why, in both our workshop and virtual training, we utilise a wide variety of techniques and activities to keep participants constantly stimulated and involved. Participants in our training experiences are constantly contributing and participating. There is simply limited opportunity to get distracted by other matters, whether you are at your desk in a virtual session, or in a meeting room in a workshop session. Our primary focus is stimulating a participant s mind to examine, consider, adapt and accept new ideas.

10 Q. So how many people can participate? A. Our training experiences are designed to allow participants a very high level of interaction. As a result, our training experiences require a minimum of 10 participants and a maximum of 20 participants. These numbers are the same for either Workshop or Virtual Editions of any training experience. If you have a large number of employees to train we can run several concurrent learning streams to accommodate everyone in multiple sessions. Q. How far in advance do we need to book? A. This is a really good question. Our peak times are between February and May and August and November. For bookings during these months, we typically book two months in advance, but up to three months in advance towards the end of these periods. It s not just a matter of our booking schedule, but also our approach to training through our ANALYSE CREATE MOTIVATE methodology. The ANALYSE phase (preparation) is critical and we need able time for everyone, including management and participants, to prepare for the training. It is very rare we take on an assignment for a new client whose brand and processes we are unfamiliar with without at least four weeks of preparation time. Bookings during January, July, August and December are less hectic, but we need to work around holidays carefully (yours and ours!). Q. How can we pay? A. Our preferred payment method is via direct debit. However we can also accept cheques or major credit cards (with an additional surcharge for credit cards). Our standard terms are a 25% deposit at time of booking to lock in dates and resources with the balance payable in one or more instalments during the delivery of training or your Events. Standard payment terms are 14 days. Q. Do you have Terms of Engagement? A. Yes, we have a standard Terms of Engagement contract. A sample can be provided on request. It covers the service items, dates of service, responsibilities of Vue Consulting and the client, investment amounts, travel and general expenses, cancellation, payment terms, confidentiality, IP, feedback, marketing, referrals and more. It is a straightforward four-page document. Q. What happens if we cancel after booking? A. A good question and that s why we have Terms of Engagement! Our cancellation policy is outlined in the Terms of Engagement, but broadly speaking if you cancel with more than 30 days notice you will lose your deposit. If you cancel with less than 30 days notice, the full amount is payable. We will do our best to reschedule, but that s at our discretion and extra costs would be incurred by you. We are a fee for time industry, so if you do book our time we are unable to offer it to anyone else. Q. How should we set up the training room for any onsite workshops? A. We prefer participants to be seated in small tables of 3-5 (but we can work with u-shaped or boardroom layouts). The most important factor is that we will need a large training room for various group activities. Participants are often moving around and space is our key requirements. The BETTER MANAGE TIME training experience requires a projector and screen to demonstrate certain software skills, but otherwise we do not require a projector (no Power Points in any of our training). Q. How long do the training sessions run? A. Workshop Editions. Half-day workshops run from 8.30 am until 1.00 pm while full-day workshops tend to run from 8.30 am until 5.00 pm. As a minimum we schedule morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea breaks, sometimes having two separate breaks in the afternoon. We try to keep post-lunch sessions very active. Virtual Edition. Virtual Sessions run for 90 minutes, typically with times available before, during and after lunch each day. Participants log on 5-10 minutes before the start time to get settled in.
