1 NEW ADVANCING EXCELLENCE WEBSITE LAUNCHED ON MONDAY, MAY 19 TH We know our website users are very engaged and committed to making nursing homes better places to live, work and visit -- so we're making our website better, too! In mid-may, the AE Campaign will launch a new website which will boast a fresh, new look thanks to a clean, uncluttered design. We've also improved functionality by streamlining the site navigation, and we're featuring more easily accessible, enhanced content focused on the Campaign's goals and resources. Another very exciting change you can expect to see is the newly redesigned Advancing Excellence logo, which will make its debut on the new site! The Homepage address for the new website will the same as the existing one - Should you have any trouble, contact the AE HelpDesk at help@nhqualitycampaign.org Your LANE Conveners would like to share some of the new elements from the website. Should you have any questions, please don t hesitate to contact Nancy Fendler at nancy.fendler@gmcf.org or The Home Page Latest program enrollment results will auto-populate with real time data giving you a chance to see where things are at any given moment Dynamic elements with scrolling banner you can stop the rolling banner at any time by just clicking on it. When you reload page, it will begin automatically scrolling again until you click on it again. You can scroll through the banner manually by clicking on the arrows and these should be familiar concepts to you if you have used the Advancing Excellence website in the past. Multiple ways to get to each destination; hopefully, no more than 2 or 3 clicks to find any destination on the site

2 Scrolling Banners CMS PARTNERSHIP TO IMPROVE DEMENTIA CARE: This banner is different and has a yellow background with the big blue button to mimic the previous blue button on the bottom left of home page see below (old site home page) Use the circled arrow to scroll through the banners Scroll down the page to see: Latest program results About the Campaign Recent News (will be populated within the next week) Another slider that you can move manually (the circled blue dots) or it will scroll on its own This slider takes you through each goal

5 Nursing Home Use: Sign in on the Home Page with username and password, then click LOGIN Be sure to enter your Nursing Home Website if you would like it to appear on your profile Consider using sentence case instead of all UPPER CASE Be sure your facility name appears as you would like the public to see it under Find Participants Explore the Goals: Click on Goals from the Home page Reviewing YOUR Nursing Home Goals After signing in, you will be able to see the drop down menu o My Profile o Enter Date o View Progress o My Goals
