2 Category: Project Transition counsellors training and employment project Training of 2 additional transition counsellors The aim of the project is to insure quality and professional transition counselling for 160 separated personnel Homeland war veterans - according to SPECTRA program standards. In that sense 2 (two) additional transition counselors should be educated and trained to be able to provide downsized personnel with transition counselling, transition workshops and all accurate information services. There are three basic courses / seminars in the framework of transition advisors training which represents the SPECTRA standards: 1. Transition Workshops Training Course 2. Job Hunting Training Course 3. Self-employment counseling course Trained and educated advisors are supposed to work within existing regional transition teams across Croatia, giving information about SPECTRA support programs, leading transition workshops, providing counseling and employment and self-employment assistance. IT and office equipment for transition advisors should be acquired also and custom salaries must be ensured. Since SPECTRA provides 2 year guidance for program users, each of the advisors can provide support for 80 separated persons. 3 Category: Project IBM system and network administrator education IT education of separated military personnel The aim of the project is to provide separated personnel with vocational training opportunities that increase the chances of successful new employment or self-employment. The labor market analysis and SPECTRA program implementation experience, so far, shows that education is a crucial element for second career success. IT sector is one of fastest growing business sectors with the biggest growth of job vacancies and profit. Some analysis show that the employment percentage of IT occupation profiles is 80%. 1. System & Network Administrator Professional - education program for quality computer users and professionals with relatively small experience. The course includes basic IT, Networking foundations, Windows specifics and Linux specifics. After completing this course the individual is prepared for programming, network basics, Windows administration, and Linux, Apache and Windows Samba administration. Project estimate: 3900$ per person, i.e $ for group of 10 separated personnel. Project estimate: 39000$ for group of 10 separated personnel. Attachments: Project Document

4 Category: Project E business developer education IT education of separated military personnel The aim of the project is to provide separated personnel with vocational training opportunities that increase the chances of successful new employment or self-employment. Labor market analysis and SPECTRA program implementation experience, so far, shows that education is a crucial element for second career success. IT sector is one of fastest growing business sectors with the biggest growth of job vacancies and profit. Some analysis shows that employment percentage of IT occupation profiles is 80%. 2. IBM E-business Application Developer - education program for quality computer users with minimum programming experience who want to become Application Developers. The course includes programming foundations, object oriented programming in Java and developing E-business applications. After completing this course an individual is skilled for programming structure, application development, data bases, object programming and much more. Project estimate: 4700$ per person, i.e $ for a group of 10 separated personnel. Project estimate: 47000$ for group of 10 separated personnel. Attachments: Project Document

5 Category: Project European computer driving licence - ECDL education IT education of separated military personnel The aim of the project is to provide separated personnel with vocational training opportunities that increase the chances of successful new employment or self-employment. The labour market analysis and SPECTRA program implementation experience, so far, shows that education is a crucial element for second career success. IT sector is one of fastest growing business sectors with the biggest growth of job vacancies and profit. Some analysis show that the employment percentage of IT occupation profiles is 80%. 3. ECDL - world leading end-user computer skills certification program, which is an internationally recognized certification program, adopted by governments, international organizations and corporations. The ECDL certifies that the holder is competent in the use of a personal computer and common computer applications and knows essential concepts of IT. Project estimate: 13000$ for group of 14 separated personnel, i.e for 3 groups, total of 42 separated personnel Project estimate: 39000$ for total of 42 separated personnel.
