3 Global financial expertise Natixis is the corporate, investment management and financial services arm of Groupe BPCE, France s second-largest banking player via its two networks, Banque Populaire and Caisse d Epargne. The three core businesses combine their areas of expertise and develop business synergies to offer clients customized, high value-added solutions. This approach is a major asset for Natixis clients. Long-standing client relationships Natixis has privileged relationships with its client base of companies, financial institutions and institutional investors. Part of Groupe BPCE, it also designs specific solutions for the group s networks, i.e. Banque Populaire and Caisse d Epargne, and their client base of individuals, professionals and small and medium-size businesses.

4 Strong A client-focused economic model In 2009, Natixis refocused its strategy on three core businesses serving its clients. It increased the business synergies between its business lines and within Groupe BPCE to offer solutions suited to its clients needs. The major transformation of Natixis economic model, achieved in three years, enabled Natixis to pursue its profitable strategy and to address the challenges facing the banking sector. Natixis designs customized and high value-added financial solutions by drawing on its three core businesses complementary areas of expertise. Its business approach is based on a thorough analysis of its clients needs. It enables Natixis to accurately adapt its offering and to provide them with tailored solutions. 6 Wholesale Banking Natixis Wholesale Banking advises companies, financial institutions, the public sector and Groupe BPCE s retail banking networks, it offers a diverse range of financing solutions and provides access to capital markets. The Wholesale Banking teams have the financial and sector-based expertise, spanning advisory, origination, financing, structuring and placement, necessary to satisfy clients needs. To support them internationally, Natixis uses three platforms: Americas, Asia- Pacific and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Best euro lead manager for covered bonds in 2012 The bank was also ranked No. 2 in the Best liquidity provider on the euro-covered bond market. 7 investment solutions The four business lines of Investment Solutions Asset Management, Insurance, Private Banking and Private Equity develop investment solutions suited to its clients. They meet the investment, asset management and advisory needs of their private and institutional clients. Investment Solutions has a full range of areas of expertise in asset management, which uses a global distribution structure adapted to the specific features and regulations of the various markets in which it operates. No. 13 worldwide asset manager A major international player, Natixis Global Asset Management enjoys strong positions in Europe, mainly in France (e.g., Natixis Asset Management, AEW Europe) and the United States (e.g., Loomis Sayles, Harris Associates). Its ambition is to develop its presence in Europe, in Asia and in the Middle East. 8 Specialized Financial Services Specialized Financial Services comprises financial services employee savings scheme, payments, securities services and specialized financing activities factoring, sureties and financial guarantees, leasing, consumer loans, film industry financing. Developed for Groupe BPCE s retail banking networks and to generate business for Natixis, Specialized Financial Services products and services are also designed to meet the requirements of financial institutions and enable them to pool the cost of technology investments. No. 1 in terms of employee savings scheme accounts held As leader in employee savings in France, with million employee savings accounts, i.e. a 25.45% market share, Natixis Interépargne constantly develops new services to meet strong demand from savers. The latest innovation is MonEpargneSalariale, the first-ever smartphone application dedicated to employee savings.
