Typically if the Listing Agent represents both the seller and buyer they get the full agreed upon amount. Since the seller isn't saving any money why wouldn't a Buyer want their own representation? One Agent cannot fully represent both sides of a sale. How can one Agent get a Seller the most money for their home and then get a Buyer the best deal on that same home? They can't!
