Controls operating costs by effectively utilizing staff, materials, equipment, and other resources. Communications: Expresses ideas clearly and accurately in oral and written form. Shares information appropriately up, down, and across the organization. Listens to and considers others points of view. Communicates and explains College policies within the department. Relationships and Interpersonal Skills: Develops positive relationships within own department, with other areas, and outside the College. Competent - Performance meets the criteria and standards of job performance for practically all aspects of the job. Performance is steady, reliable, and maintained with a minimum of supervision. Needs Improvement - Meets some, but not all, expectations for the position. Performance is marked with inconsistency demonstrated through periods of unacceptable job performance. Performance requires improvement or further development Unacceptable - Performance is unacceptable and does not meet established and/or accepted standards. Major improvement is needed.
