3 Molex High Density Fibre Optic Solutions are pleased to announce the launch of the Molex Xtreme Density (XD) high density fibre solution. The Xtreme Density system is a configurable rackmount unit for storing and terminating incoming fibre cable. The chassis is available in a 1u 5 cassette module and 2u 12 cassette module chassis capable of delivering 124 to 288 fibres via 24 fibre Plug and Play LC/MTP modules connected via 24 fibre MTP/MTP optical cables. Prism s Big O advanced high density patching frame offers a dynamic solution to the challenges of cable management. It is designed to meet the evolving demands of high density cabling applications in the Data Centre environment. The Hoffmann open rack 2 frame and 4 frame system provides versatility with adjustable frames (4 frame only) to control the depth of the rack. 5 Cold Aisle Containment The Prism system is based on the principle of complete separation of hot and cold air, by enclosing the cold aisle across the top of the cabinets with roof panels, and both ends of the aisle with sliding doors. By doing this the cold aisle is treated as an extension of the floor void, reducing hot spots, recirculation and wild temperature differences. The thermal differential between the top and bottom of racks is reduced to 2 to 3 degrees, optimising the reliability of servers at any position in the rack. Prism also provide 90% vented floor tiles to maximise the air flow into the corridor. The hot air is dispersed into the room to become the hot aisle and returned to the CRAC units. In the cold aisle the environment is more consistent and 95% of the cold air from the CRAC units is directed through the equipment. This allows the inlet temperature to be increased significantly, saving power and energy consumption, but still allowing the equipment to operate efficiently. Free cooling can be used during a longer period which leads to a considerable reduction of the energy expenditure. The Prism raised access floor tile systems are the ideal solution for Data Centre, server farm and hot spot cooling. Triad s patented pending high density airflow panel offers up to 65% airflow, delivering 2-3 times more CFM than industry standard perforated airflow panels. If the site is constrained by cooling capacity, the installation of thermal partitions will allow more equipment to be installed saving on energy bills. We also offer the Koldlok system which utilises existing brush technology and combines it with a sheet of flexible membrane to provide an almost impenetrable air barrier providing the ultimate solution for raised floor cable entry. The range includes high definition indoor and outdoor IP cameras and IP dome cameras capable of clear and precise imaging up to a maximum of 5 mega pixels.
