Specific Warnings, Cauions and Noes ha apply o paricular aciviies are lised a he beginning of he relevan chapers and are repeaed or supplemened a criical poins hroughou hese secions. Please read he informaion carefully, since i is provided for your personal safey and will also help prolong he service life of your MICROMASTER 43 Inverer and he equipmen you connec o i. WARNING This equipmen conains dangerous volages and conrols poenially dangerous roaing mechanical pars. Non-compliance wih Warnings or failure o follow he insrucions conained in his manual can resul in loss of life, severe personal injury or serious damage o propery. Only suiable qualified personnel should work on his equipmen, and only afer becoming familiar wih all safey noices, insallaion, operaion and mainenance procedures conained in his manual. The successful and safe operaion of his equipmen is dependen upon is proper handling, insallaion, operaion and mainenance. The DC link capaciors remain charged for five minues afer power has been removed. I is no permissible o open he equipmen unil 5 minues afer he power has been removed. The drive uni discharges iself during his ime. This equipmen is capable of providing inernal moor overload proecion in accordance wih UL58C secion 42. Refer o P6 and P335, i 2 is ON by defaul. Moor overload proecion can also be provided using an exernal PTC or KTY84. This equipmen is suiable for use in a circui capable of delivering no more han, (Frame Size C) or 42, (Frame Sizes D o GX) symmerical amperes (rms), for a maximum volage of 46 V when proeced by an H, J or K ype fuse, a circui breaker or self-proeced combinaion moor conroller (for more deails see Operaing Insrucions Appendix F). Use Class 6/75 C copper wire only wih he cross-secions as specified in he Operaing Insrucions. The mains inpu, DC and moor erminals, can carry dangerous volages even if he inverer is inoperaive. Always wai 5 minues o allow he uni o discharge afer swiching off before carrying ou any insallaion work.
