2 B. MORE INFORMATION ABOUT MEAL PLAN How Your Meal Plan Works 1 CONVENIENCE FEATURES Meal Exchange at Nolan s Sophomores and upperclassmen opting for the anytime, 14, 7 meals per week plans or the 50 block plan have the added convenience of Meal Exchange at Nolan s. Meal Exchange at Nolan s allows students to choose from a variety of set meal combos available at each station. Meal Exchange is not an all-you-care-to-eat program, but rather is provided as a convenience when time constraints won t allow for dinner at the FFC. One Meal Exchange swipe may be used in each of the two zones each day: Zone 1: 5-8AM; Zone 2: 8PM-closing, for a total of two swipes maximum per day. Meals to Go at the Fresh Food Cafe We know there are times when you are busy and may not be able to enjoy a leisurely meal at the Fresh Food Cafe every day. That s why we offer the convenience of a to-go program at the FFC. During any breakfast, lunch or dinner meal period, students can fill to-go containers and enjoy a great meal on the run or in the comfort of their room or suite. 2 SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS Those with varying dietary needs are well accommodated at the FFC. The wide variety of menu options offered makes it easy to customize a meal regardless of almost any dietary restriction. We ll be happy to arrange a meeting with our executive chef and dietitian who can provide details and insight into preparation and recipes and provide an overview of the many offerings at the FFC. Students with special dietary needs are strongly encouraged to contact the Dining office at or dining@hd.jhu.edu well before arriving on campus to discuss your individualized needs and accommodations. FFC refrains from offering peanut and tree nuts in addition to sesame seeds as part of the dining program. We cannot promise a completely peanut, tree nut or sesame seed free facility but we do take every effort possible to restrict entry of these products into FFC. We do purchase products from vendors that use common production equipment that processes foods containing peanut, tree-nut, and sesame seeds. Meals in a Minute (MIM) When time is at a premium and you re closer to Levering or the Charles Street Market, we offer our Meals in a Minute Program. Offered on class days, students on the anytime, 14, 7 meals per week plan or Block 50 plans can take advantage of this program. MIM provide students with a choice of a sandwich or entree salad, two sides and a beverage. Guest Passes Students enrolled in the anytime, 14, 7 and Kosher meal plans also receive and enjoy two guest passes per semester for family or friends. Just let the cashier know you d like to use a guest pass, sit back and enjoy a great meal and your guest s company.
