24 Workshops Attendees: 29 people external to GIP Auvergne have attended the workshops 12 training advisors in charge of relations between training bodies and external companies or institutions, notably banks, for continuous training of their staffs and/or in charge of training plans design for job seekers 2 trainers involved in training inside banks 3 training managers (of CIC Bank, ERDF and CNFPT) 7 representatives of DAFPIC Auvergne that has been stongly involved in testing of E-CODE software (from R&D department and e-learning department) 5 representatives of National Education and Universities of Clermont-Ferrand

25 Main feedbacks of focus groups and workshops The competence based model based on actual work processes and activities of companies, linked to required competences allows to satisfy real training needs of companies. Measuring the competence gaps between the requested competences (as defined in the competence dictionnaries) and the real competences of staffs involved in the real work processes should guarantee the suitability and efficiency of training plans and courses The possibility of designing virtual learning environments based on the actual work processes of the company, with correlated teaching materials and tools should favour the continuing updating of key competences required to govern the professional activities. Articulating the web competence based environments into virtual offices similar to the company ones can facilitate continuing training at the work place of knowledge and ability needed to raise the quality standard of the core processes.

26 Main feedbacks of focus groups and workshops The most interesting factors of the methodological model are: - it is based on skills and competences actually needed by the company - it is based on the measurement of the gaps between the competences required by the company and the real competences of staffs - the e-learning platforms can be very attractive

27 Main feedbacks of focus groups and workshops The model is valid if the company has defined before its work processes The web based application, as the model, is complex. It needs a strong involvement. But very useful in the long run
