Choose from Resort stays for complete relaxation, or Day experiences for a well deserved treat. Your choice of bedroom, from the comfortable to the luxurious. A delicious variety of meals, from a healthy buffet breakfast with recommended plans to suit your requirements, a hot and cold buffet lunch and a three course evening meal. Inclusive treatments (25 minutes in duration, unless otherwise stated). Please note treatments vary with each residential package. Use of the resorts extensive facilities and a daily programme of classes and activities. Complimentary robe hire in all room types. If this is your first stay with us, then we ve put together a guide on how to plan your stay, i.e. what to pack and when to book your treatments. Premier Service Champneys offers a Premier Service that is complimentary when making a booking at Premier or Suite rate from the full tariff (not available on discounted rates or special offers). The Premier Service is designed to offer a personalised service. Premier Guests will receive the individual attention and expertise of one of our Premier Therapists, who will create a tailor-made schedule for you. Guests can also relax in our private premier waiting areas. Premier Guests receive a range of complimentary gifts including slippers and sports water bottle. A Fire Fly detox drink, natural mineral water and fresh fruit will be in your room, on arrival along with a complimentary newspaper. Plan and Pamper We are delighted to offer you a great discount the further in advance you make your booking. For all packages listed here you will receive the following discounts. Group Discount If you are looking to bring a group, we are pleased to announce that when booking a residential break from the tariff, for every seven full paying guests; the eighth person will go free. 3 Your Stay Includes: Wellbeing & Fitness Activities Accommodation Accommodation is available in five differing room categories, beginning with our standard rooms which are comfortable with all essential requirements. For added luxury, upgrade your room to a Superior, Premier, Suite or Deluxe Suite (only at Tring). Superior: Our Superior rooms offer you that little bit of extra space (average 25m 2 ), with prime views of the resort and its stunning surrounding gardens and countryside, a real escape. They are comfortably furnished, with flat screen digital TV s, DVD players, refreshing teas and a choice of coffee, bottled mineral water, Champneys Slippers and luxurious towelling robe to relax in. For a little extra, a whole lot more. Premier: Our spacious and beautifully furnished rooms (average size 34m 2 ) are positioned within the resort to provide you with stunning views of our extensive grounds. Premier Guests receive our value added services (see page 1 for full details of the tailormade services all included within the premier services). Cuisine Our resorts specialise in healthy cuisine, using the freshest and finest ingredients to produce wholesome, balanced and delicious food. Included in our packages is a buffet breakfast, a varied choice of salads and hot dishes in our luncheon buffet and a three course evening meal, with menus changed daily. We also provide light diet, vegetarian and vegan options. We are also able to cater for special diets and kosher meals, however, prior notice will be required and a minimum 50 supplement per day will be levied at the resort. This may vary subject to requested food items being sourced externally. Facilities Guests are invited to enjoy unlimited use of all facilities throughout the day, including our indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna/laconium, steam room, computerised gymnasium, studios for exercise and relaxation classes, bicycles and tennis court. Each resort has a wireless internet zone for your essential laptop needs (laptops not provided). Each resort offers a complete exercise and relaxation programme to suit every age and level of fitness. Our professional fitness instructors will assist you with your wellbeing programme and are on hand to answer any questions you may have. Champneys Medical, Tring Champneys Tring has created a new concept of health care, providing patients with a unique combination of medical excellence within luxurious surrounds. A warm towelling robe is ideal within the health resorts. We have towelling robes for your use. Please bring swimsuits for the Spa areas. The gymnasium and classes require exercise wear and proper exercise trainers for your safety, preferably two pairs, one for indoor and one for outdoor activities. For country hikes, walking shoes are suggested. Within the Health Resort footwear must be worn for health and safety reasons. Slippers are available to purchase from the boutiques. Dress is informal at all times, however, guests are reminded that towelling robes are not permitted in the dining room or lounge area after 6.30pm. If your stay includes a morning arrival it is recommended that you pack a day bag of clothes, swimsuit and toiletries to begin the day as you arrive. The resorts have wireless internet connections for your laptops, should you feel the need to stay in touch whilst in the resorts. Bring it with you or alternatively there is a broadband PC for fixed line use. Arrival & Departure Your bedroom accommodation will be available from 2pm onwards on the day of arrival, and on the day of departure, guests are requested to vacate bedrooms before 11am. Spa Treatment & Wellbeing Services After making your booking at a Champneys health resort, additional services can be requested online at Please prebook additional Spa Treatment & Wellbeing Services seven days prior to arrival, otherwise your treatments/services cannot be guaranteed. All treatments/wellbeing services are subject to availability. For Mother-To-Be guests on residential breaks, please note that your thalassotherapy pool session can be substituted with a make-up workshop. All other treatment preferences are subject to the normal upgrade fee and practice. For further details please see the treatment price lists or visit Onsite Smoking Champneys Health Resorts are non-smoking environments, we do however provide an external facility for those that need it. Alcohol Consumption The Champneys Group operates a policy of providing alcohol, with controls, in its dining areas, as an accompaniment to meals. This is in line with current health advice on alcohol unit consumption. The drinking of alcohol in other public areas is not permitted. It is requested that guests do not bring alcohol onto the premises for consumption in bedrooms. On safety grounds, alcohol consumption affects an individual s safe use of health resort facilities and the receiving of treatments with the possible consequence of dangerous side effects. We aim at all times to preserve the peace and tranquillity for all guests within the health resort. A low tolerance policy is applied to individuals who cause a nuisance and disturbance through not respecting our policy on alcohol.

6 Champneys Breaks All Champneys residential breaks listed here include; 2pm arrival to the resort and 4pm departure from the resort on your day of departure, unless otherwise stated (please note the room will need to be vacated by 11am). Also included is unlimited use of the facilities, a choice of up to 20 classes per day, all meals during your stay (healthy buffet breakfast, three course à la carte dinner and a three course buffet lunch on the day(s) after arrival) If you would like to upgrade we have some luxurious options available and the charges would be the following per person, per night in addition to the standard room prices; Superior room 25 Premier room 50 Suite 100 Deluxe Suite 250 (only at Tring) There is a 30 single supplement per person, per night. All days are from 9am until 6pm, include a welcome refreshing juice drink and tour of the resort, unlimited use of the facilities and a choice of up to 20 classes per day plus a delicious hot and cold buffet style lunch. 8 Terms & Conditions Reservations Our reservations staff are pleased to advise you of the availability and prices of rooms on the dates that you require and will be pleased to give you any other information. Full payment is required for online bookings. No telephone reservations can be accepted as binding on the Company, unless accompanied by a 100 deposit per person or full payment, subject to payment terms. A 2.50 credit card charge is levied on all bookings. Debit card bookings have no fee. In exceptional/necessary circumstances, the Company reserves the right to offer an alternative resort as a destination, date of stay or cancel reservation(s) with full refund to the payee. No refund will be given for early departure unless caused by significant acts of negligence on the part of the Company. Prices The prices include those elements listed, VAT and are per person. To receive prices quoted per person for double/triple rooms it is a requirement that two/ three people are booked into the room. Extra services will be charged at the rates shown by the Company at its premises. Pre-booked additional treatments will be charged at the rate current on the date of booking. Date of arrival on the pre-booking form at the Company s premises will be the accepted date. Day Guests Payment Day Tariffs: Full payment is required at time of booking. In the event of non-payment, for whatever reason, the Company may refuse admission and in this event, the deposit will be forfeited. Cheques and all major credit cards are accepted. Payment for additional treatments must be made on departure. The Company requires a credit card imprint on arrival as a guarantee of any monies due. Residential Guests Payment Special Offers: Full payment is required at time of booking. Standard Tariff: Bookings made less than 30 days prior to date of arrival require full payment at time of booking. Bookings made more than 30 days prior to date of arrival require 100 deposit per person to secure the booking. The balance is required 30 days prior to arrival. Full payment is required for online bookings. NB: No reminders are sent. In the event of non-payment for whatever reason, the Company may refuse admission and in this event, the deposit will be forfeited. Cheques and all major credit cards are accepted. The period for which the booking is accepted and confirmation has been given, must be paid in full 30 days prior to arrival. The Company requires a credit card imprint on arrival as a guarantee of any monies due. Accounts will only be forwarded if arrangements are made in writing before arrival. No refund will be given for early departure unless caused by significant acts of negligence on the part of the Company. Cancellation All cancellations must be made in writing by post/fax/ . The date of arrival of the written cancellation notice at the Company will be the accepted date for commencement of the cancellation notice period. The Company will apply the following charges per person for cancellations/amendments: Day Guest Bookings: Cancellation within 7 days of arrival date: Full payment Cancellation between 7 and 30 days of arrival date: 50% Cancellation more than 30 days before arrival date: 25 Residential Bookings: Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: 100 Cancellation with more than 30 days before arrival date: 25 For all Bookings: Alterations to bookings: 10 administration fee Non arrival without notice: Full payment Cancellation of additional treatments within 24 hours: 50% of cost of treatment Cancellation and Curtailment Protection Plan We are pleased to be able to provide you with a cancellation and curtailment protection plan that can be applied to protect your monies paid, as even the best laid plans can go awry. In summary, our cancellation and curtailment protection plan refunds your deposit or full payment made (except the protection charge) if you have to cancel or curtail your visit due to the causes mentioned on our cancellation and curtailment leaflet. This protection is an individual cover and does not cover multiple or group bookings. Cancellation and curtailment cover, if required, should be taken by each individual. Our cancellation and curtailment protection plan must be taken at the time of booking. Ask our reservation department for further details /protection charges, from as little as 6. Gift Vouchers Please ensure that you bring your redeemable gift voucher to the resort to present on arrival. Non presentation of voucher will necessitate in a charge being made until the voucher is presented. If full or part payment for your visit is by a gift voucher, this will become void if you fail to arrive. All other cancellation charges are shown under Cancellation. However, we will be pleased to hold the balance of the value of the voucher for future use. Mechanical/Electrical Breakdowns Any mechanical or electrical breakdowns which occur on the premises are usually beyond our control, although we will try to repair any such fault as soon as possible. No refunds will be given unless any such breakdown is due to the negligence of the Company or its employees or agents. Valuables No responsibility can be accepted by the Company for the safety of money or valuables of any kind brought to the health resorts, whether placed in the safe or not. If you do bring valuable items, it is essential that they are covered by your own insurance for the period of your stay. The Company will not be liable, under any circumstances whatsoever, for damage, injury or consequential loss, however caused, to our residents, their property and belongings, unless it is solely due to negligence of the Company,its employees or agents. Mobile phones are not permitted in any of the public areas. Children and Pets The Company regrets that we do not have the facilities or accommodation for children under the age of 16. We cannot allow guests to bring pets either, but good boarding kennels are available locally. Doctor The health resorts are not alternative medical centres and do not have a resident doctor. Guests are advised to consult with their family doctor about the need to limit or avoid our full range of treatments and facilities, for example inclusive treatments, steam room or sauna. The Champneys Group pursues a policy of continuous development of fitness, health and beauty treatments and techniques. We, therefore, reserve the right to make changes which will be beneficial to our guests. Notification of specific changes will be given where relevant. Should a guest choose not to proceed with an alternative treatment that may have been substituted for a specific choice, no treatment cancellation charge will be made.
