(a) All Categories - Born not after - 08 Jun 1998 (b) Sol GD/GD (ST/Adivasi) - Born not before - 08 Dec 1994 (c) Sol Clk/SKT, Sol Tech, - Born not before - 08 Dec 1992 Sol Tech (Avn/Amn) and Sol Tdn Note : The first day of the rally will be taken as effective date for determining the eligibility of candidates for age. 3. Candidate reporting after 7 AM will not be allowed to participate in the recruitment rally. 4. Candidate are advised in their own interest to get themselves medically examined in respect of flat foot, vision and other minor ailments. It is advised that candidates get treated for Hernia, Hydrocele & skin diseases. They should also get their ears cleaned and wax shall also be removed from the ears. 5. Army Grievance Cell will be established at the rally site to redress grievances of the candidates. 6. Candidates not in possession of required documents will not be permitted to attend the recruitment rally. 7. Educational, Permanent Residential, Caste, NCC, Sports and all other certificates submitted by the candidates during recruitment rally will be verified. In case of fake/forged documents, FIR for fraudulent enrollment in the army will be lodged and such candidates will be handed over to West Bengal Police. 8. Selection of candidate will be provisional notwithstanding their passing successive stages of screening for recruitment in the army till completion of all the pre-enrollment validation procedures. 9. Restriction of Fundamental Rights. Service in Armed Forces is of sensitive nature because it concerns national security issues as also the impeccable image that Army carries and associated values of loyalty, integrity and devotion to duty which must be upheld at all cost. Due to peculiar nature of service there will be restriction of fundamental rights as per section 21 of Army Act 1950 and Army Rule 19, 29 & 21 (1954). 10. 2 Note :- (a) Screening of SOS, SOEX, SOW, SOWW,NCC and outsider candidates will be carried out as per schedule mentioned above. (b) Common Entrance Examination (CEE) for all categories will be intimated during the Rally. 11. Negative Marking System in CEE. Negative marking system for all categories will be as under :- (a) -1.0 (One) mark for Sol Tech and Sol Clk/SKT for each wrong answer. (b) -0.5 (Half) mark for Sol General Duty/Sol Gen Duty (Schedule Tribe/Adivasi) for each wrong answer. (c) Zero (0) marks for answer left blank. 12. (j) Clerk/ Store Keeper Technical 23 Yrs (ii) Subject taken as ALTERNATE ENGLISH by the candidate will not be accepted /48* (i) Should have secured 40% marks in each subject and 50% marks in aggregate in class XII. (ii) Should have studied English and Math/Accts/Book keeping in class XII or Class X. Should have secured min 40% marks in each subject, whether it was studied in class XII or Class X. (iii) If candidate is a graduate(any field) with Maths/Acct/Book Keeping and English (even elective) as one of the subjects. The stipulation of scoring 40% marks in Math/English in class X or XII and scoring 50% marks in aggregate in class XII is waived off. (iv) If candidate is a graduate but not having English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at graduate level, he should have scored minimum 40% marks in English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping at least once in Class X or Class XII. Subject taken as ALTERNATE ENGLISH by the candidate will not be accepted. Note : (*) Relaxation in height & Weight is applicable for Schedule Tribe and Adivasi candidates only. PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST (a) 1.6 Km Run (1 mile run) (for Sol GD). Grouping and Marks will be awarded as given below :- (i) Upto 5.40 min - Group-I - Marks - 60 (ii) From 5.41 to min - Group-II - Marks - 48 (iii) Beyond 6.00 min - Fail. (b) 1.6 Km Run (1 mile run) (All cat except Sol GD). Grouping and Marks will be awarded as given below :- (i) Upto 5.40 min - Group-I - Marks - 60 (ii) From 5.41 to 06 min 20 sec - Group-II - Marks - 48 (iii) Beyond 6.20 min - Fail. (c) Pull Ups. Marks of pull ups will be awarded as given below :- (i) 10 Pull Ups - Marks - 40 (ii) 09 Pull Ups - Marks - 33 (iii) 08 Pull Ups - Marks - 27 (iv) 07 Pull Ups - Marks - 21 (v) 06 Pull Ups - Marks - 16 (d) (e) Zig-Zag Balance. Candidate has to qualify the Zig-Zag Balance. No Marks are awarded for Zig-Zag Balance. 9 Feet Ditch (Long Jump). Candidate has to qualify the 9 feet ditch. No Mark is awarded for 9 feet ditch (long jump). Note : Candidate will undergo all tests at their own risk and expense and neither he nor his legal heir is entitled to claim any compensation. Any injury including fatal due to these tests during the recruitment rally will not be compensated in any manner.

(f) NCC C cert attended RD Parade Exempted CEE for all cats. However the candidates will be present on the day of CEE. (g) Candidate having O + level Computer Certificate issued by DOEACC Society 15 Marks for Sol Clerk/Store Keeper Technical only Note :- 1. The above marks are fixed depending upon the eligibility of a candidate and have no relation to his performance in CEE. 2. If a candidate is having more than one cert of NCC/Sports/SOS/SOEX only one type of Bonus Marks (Maximum of the permissible) will be given. To elaborate, for General Duty, Son of Ex-serviceman (20 marks) with NCC B (10 marks) certificate will get bonus marks of SOEX (20 Marks only) and not = 30 Marks or not only NCC B (10 Marks). DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR RECRUITMENT (a) Twenty copies of unattested passport size colour photographs with negative in white background not more than three months old. Computerized photographs will not be accepted. Candidate to carry following ORIGINAL documents :- [ (i) Registration Certificate, Admit Card, Mark Sheet and Board Certificate. All educational qualifications achieved by the candidate i.e Madhyamik, Intermediate, Graduation etc from Recognized School, College, Board/University. Degree holder candidate will also produce his provisional or Original Degree issued by University. (ii) Permanent Residential Certificate. Nativity/Permanent Residence Certificate is required to be issued by DM/ADM(G)/SDM/SDO and Domicile Certificate issued by DM/SDM on office letter pad duly affixed with candidate s photograph, office round stamp specifying that the candidate is Permanent Resident of that village. Temporary/Ordinary Residential Certificate will not be accepted. The certificate should be issued for the purpose of recruitment in the Army / Defence service and must bear a serial number. (b) Permanent Residential Certificate in Case of Non-Bengali Candidate. Nativity/Permanent Residence Certificate is required to be issued by the DM/ADM(G)/SDM/SDO and Domicile Certificate issued by DM/SDM as per rules applicable in respective District with round stamp and designation stamp. Temporary/Ordinary Residential Certificate will not be accepted. (c) Character Certificate and Un-Married Certificate. From village Pradhan/Sarpanch or Chairman of those candidates, who are staying in city (under municipality), on printed official pad duly affixed with round stamp on the candidate s photograph and character certificate valid for six months from date of issue. Candidates less than 21 years of age should be unmarried and in possession of un-married certificate. The same can be endorsed by Gram Pradhan/Sarpanch or Chairman on the Character Certificate itself.

4 (d) NCC Certificate. Candidate who having NCC A, B, or C certificate should have photograph of the candidate duly attested by issuing authority on the certificate. In case of any NCC candidate does not have proper NCC certificate, issuing authority (OC of NCC Bn) to give a certificate on letterhead duly stamped and affixed with attested photo to this effect. Provisional NCC certificate issued by the NCC units will be accepted only at the time of screening. Original NCC cert will be produced before CEE. (e) SOS/SOEX/SOW/SOWW Candidates. Candidates are required to produce the following documents on the rally site :- (i) Relationship certificate as per prescribed format issued from respective Record Office only duly signed by Record Officer with Personal number, Rank, Name and particular of the Record Officer issuing the Relationship Certificate with office seal/stamp is endorsed. (ii) A declaration on an Affidavit on Ten Rupees Non-Judicial Stamp Paper prepared by Exserviceman (ESM) duly signed by 1 st Class/Executive/Judicial Magistrate is required to be submitted by the candidate at rally site. The ESM will mention particular of all sons including name, date of birth and their employment/occupation in the affidavit and declare that I am willing to avail SOEX benefits for only one son named.., whose Date of Birth is... I have not availed SOS/SOEX benefits for another son earlier, if my statement is found fake/wrong at later stage, legal action can be initiated against me besides candidature of my son will be cancelled by the military authority. I shall never challenge for the same in the Hon ble Court of Law. (f) Outstanding Sportsmen Certificate. Certificate to the outstanding sportsmen should have been issued by the Recognized Sports Association / Sports Federations. (g) Caste Certificate for Schedule Tribe. To be issued by DM/ADM(G)/SDM/SDO with photograph of candidate duly attested by issuing authority as per prescribed format for issue of Caste / Tribe Certificate by the Government of West Bengal. (h) Outsider Sanction. Outsider Sanction issued by Recruiting Directorate, Integrated HQ of MoD (Army) / HQ Recruiting Zone, Kolkata as applicable, in case of candidates from other states. (j) For Re-Enrolment into Defence Security Corps. Ex-servicemen will carry their original Discharge Book, 20 passport size photographs, Permanent Residential, civil education, character, single wife & extended AGI certificates and two sets of xerox copies and all med docus alongwith test reports carried out by Military Hospital. Note : Candidate should not have more than one red ink entry in last five years service and not more than two red ink entry in entire service. Red ink entry in Army Act Sec 48 during last five years service will not be accepted. Pers placed Low Med Cat in last five years in Alcohol Dependency Syndrome and upgraded SHAPE-1 will not be accepted. (k) Provisional education certificate will be accepted and original certificates will be produced before CEE. Candidates who are not in possession of required documents will not be permitted to attend Recruitment Rally. (l) Overcrowding. It is seen that due to the presence of accompanying parents/friends with the candidates a lot of overcrowding takes place at the venue of the rally. To avoid such crowding only candidates will be permitted to enter the rally site and parents/friends are advised not to accompany the candidates. (m) Affidavit duly signed by the candidate on the Non Judicial Stamp paper as per specimen incorporated in this poster duly attested by a Notary would be submitted by candidate during the rally document check. (n) PAN Card. Candidate should be in possession of PAN Card or receipt of having applied for preparation of PAN Card. (o) All Xerox copies will be self attested as per the attestation policy of Government of India. Note:- In case, absence of any of the original education documents due to loss/theft i.e. Registration Certificate, Admit Card, Board Certificate, Mark Sheet etc, candidate to produce following documents alongwith duplicate copy:- (a) FIR lodged to this effect by the police authority. (b) Affidavit from judicial/1 st class/executive magistrate with Xerox duly mentioned the circumstances under which lost/theft occurred.

GET TREATED FOR HERNIA, HYDROCELE, SKIN DISEASES IF ANY. 3. BODY HAIR ON PRIVATE PARTS SHOULD BE SHAVED. 4. TAKE PROPER BATH ON THE DAY OF MEDICAL EXAMINATION. 5. BODY TATTOO. CANDIDATES HAVING PERMANENT BODY TATTOOS ARE ONLY PERMITTED ON INNER FACE OF FOREARMS I.E. FROM INSIDE OF ELBOW TO THE WRIST AND ON THE REVERSE SIDE OF PALM/BACK (DORSAL) SIDE OF HAND. PERMANENT BODY TATTOOS ON ANY OTHER PART OF THE BODY IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AND CANDIDATE WILL BE BARRED FROM FURTHER SCREENING. 5. The selection of candidates will remain PROVISIONAL until all the documents submitted by him during prelim Documentation Check at Army Recruitment Rally Site are verified and found correct. All the selected candidates will undergo requisite PRE DESPATCH VALIDATION PROCEDURES which include Pre Enrolment Verification, Final Document Check, Pre Despatch Physical Measurement & Medical Examination.
