12 Application Details: Pre conditions To apply, students must: Have completed no more than 12 months in a PhD program at the UW as of September Be willing to follow the requirements of the IGERT program Be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident (NSF Requirement) Accepted into the PhD program in Astronomy, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Genome Sciences, Oceanography, or Statistics (the participating departments ) 12
