3 What makes Moldavian whiskey different? The flavor characteristics of Moldavian whisky are determined by a variety of parameters, including the quality of the water, the quality of the grain, the characteristics of aging, but especially by: the unique climate and soil, on which the wheat is cultivated; using oak barrels from sherry and port wine the aging in them gives a special flavor and aroma imprint; the clean, sweet, almost without minerals water, originates from ancient underground layers (Moldova was once the bottom of a sea), that determine its extraordinary properties purity and taste; using a three-step distillation, which gives the whisky softness.

4 Excellent quality Moldova is famous for its fertile and eco-friendly soils, on which from ancient times is cultivated high quality wheat. The water - from the deepest layers of the earth, which were once the bottom of an ancient sea; is another natural heritage of our republic. Combined with the centuries-old experience of manufacturing spirits, these unique components have become the basis of the new special products whisky "Red Rider" and Komandor, which won t leave you indifferent and will bring a new stream of fresh emotions in your life.

5 Production process The process of making whisky may appear to be simple, but its result can produce an infinitely complex and exquisite drink.

6 We control every step of the spirit-making: from milling the locally grown grain to distilling, infusing in barrels, and finally, bottling. We produce organic whisky, in Chisinau's old distillery, which was based in 1898.

Organic spirit We believe that the best spirits must come from the best ingredients. The grain, that is used in production, is obtained from organic Moldavian farms.

8 WATER - is the soul of WHISKY All of our products are distilled in our own facility. Our water an essential ingredient in distillation - clear, sweet, with a minimum amount of impurities and natural minerals it comes from the deep ancient layers of the earth and it is additionally treated, for purification, with natural charcoal. 10 BARELLS All of our whiskeys are aged for three years in 30-gallon oak barrels (113,55 Liters). This insures the distillate, to develop and enrich its flavor thanks to the clear notes of the deep fragrance. Aging in specially re-toasted barrels from sherry and port wine, gives the whisky a special color, unique bouquet and oiliness. The whisky is aged with a volumetric alcohol content of less than 94,8%.

11 We use the barrels, made by the best local coopers. We age our whisky, till it extracts the full range of aromas from the oak.

12 Finally, we bottle our whisky. Every product we make is Certified UNI EN ISO 9001:2008.

15 How to use Red Rider whisky - is the best accompaniment to a relaxing and thoughtful conversation. It is recommended to be served with ice or to be diluted with water or soda.
