We understand the complexity of industrial operations and can provide quality services with minimal interference with the everyday operations. 2 Professional Pest Management Coalfields Pest Control believes in integrated, pro-active pest management. An initial assessment of the site is completed, this enables us to present a recommended treatment program that will both tackle any immediate problems and prevent future infestations. Spider Control. The treatment for the control of spider can be done both internally and externally to all buildings, Warehouses, Wash plant, Train Load out, Draglines & Shovels. Cockroach Control. The treatment for the control of cockroaches will be in wet areas only (i.e. kitchen, food store, crib huts etc.) Cockroach Gel, Permethrin powder, and a chemical spray are used in this treatment. Ant Control. The treatment for the control of household is usually done to the wet areas only (e.g. kitchen, crib huts etc.) The treatment involves the use of gels & barrier sprays in areas that ants may be using to access the buildings. External ant treatments (e.g. meat ants, green ants & bull ants) Control can be achieved by a number of methods including commercial grade ant sand, Insecticide sprays directly to the area/s of infestation. Rodent Control. Various options are available depending on the level of outbreak. In some cases permanent lockable Rodent stations can be placed in areas of concern. Locations are noted for reservicing. These stations are checked at the time scheduled pest treatments, monthly during winter months, otherwise as required. Termite Control. Termite populations are extremely high in areas of the Coalfields. Coalfields Pest Control has the knowledge and skills to combat any termite problems you may have. Coalfields Pest Control operates under QBSA # Physical & Chemical. Fly Control. Summer need not be unbearable with many options available to combat flies. Both chemical and physical options will ensure a pest free summer. Mosquito Control. A range of options are available seasonally as required including thermal fogging, mosquito growth regulators, wet misting and mosquito traps. 3 Weed Management A strategic management plan can ensure weeds are effectively controlled and managed. Identification is the first vital step in developing a suitable strategy, knowing the species can also influence the decision whether to spray, the rate of application required and type of herbicide required. Coalfields Pest Control can prepare a suitable management plan using both chemical and physical methods. Treatments can be done around industrial areas for fire and safety measures and remote treatments for the control of some noxious weeds species. It is desirable to start weed control well in advance of any planned revegetation activities. Correct weed management is vital to the success of revegetation projects as weeds can starve plants of vital nutrient and moisture. Grass clean up Sometimes used in conjunction with weed management Grass clean up can be achieved in areas where grass is restricting access to an area (e.g. substations or around buildings). This is achieved by use of commercial brush cutters and/or mowers. Grass clean up can have your site tidy, safe from fire and snakes and looking presentable. Re-vegetation & landscaping Coalfields Pest Control can assist with small scale landscaping and re-vegetation projects. Our men also have chainsaw tickets for small scale chainsaw jobs.

4 Clinical & Sanitary Waste Services Coalfields Pest Control is also insured and registered to carry regulated waste. Our Sanitary bin service allows for reliable, safe, discreet and hygienic sanitary disposal ensuring that your staff & visitors and feel comfortable. All sanitary bins are supplied and serviced with odour granules, containing anti-bacterial agents that inhibit the growth of bacteria. Automatic air fresheners are also available to assist with eliminating unpleasant odours from washrooms & offices blocks. Coalfields Pest Control s clinical waste disposal service is a safe and cost effective method of disposing of clinical waste such as those used in D & A tests and other materials from First Aid rooms and ambulance stations. This is often a fortnightly service where the unit is replaced and returned to our service facility where the container contents are disposed of in full compliance with environmental guidelines.

5 High Pressure Cleaning Coalfields provides professional, cost effective and environmentally friendly solutions to clean and maintain all external hard surfaces such as car parks, walkways, warehouses and many more outdoor surfaces, that will instantly improve the appearance of your industrial and commercial assets. Special Note All treatments & services listed above shall be combined where possible to minimise cost. All treatments shall be performed by licensed technicians. All treatments shall be performed by technicians fully inducted and familiarised in the area to be treated. All treatment work will be carried out at a time convenient to mine staff to minimise disruption to the normal workings of the mine. All termite treatments will be in accordance with AS & 2 All re-treatments under periods of free treatment shall be limited to areas of activity only. All products to be used in our operations will be authorised and permitted for use on site consistence with site regulations before treatments commence. All products to be used in our operations are approved by the National Registration Authority, the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQUIS) and the Queensland Health. All MSDS sheets are carried in our vehicles and will be provided to each relevant Safety section before commencement of operations.
