It was fundamentally changing business across the world and creating thousands of jobs. Face of purchasing the goods is to be change by society, always aware about new concepts and implementation in life. From fashion apparels to perfumes, laptops to cars, holiday package, jewelry, even wedding gowns to pujaa items- Indians today are getting to buy everything online. Introduction ETIM The project revenue will go to the tune of Rs.200 corer in % years. Conductors are trained using the Train the Trainer methodology. After deployment of ETM machines, ticketing times were reduced by approximately minutes, and also conductors could not do any cheating regarding sale of ticket. The management can now gather the revenue figures as and when required, and also the MIS system has improved. Automation of the Ticketing System of MSRTC MSRTC introduce ORS at 10 Jan 2010.Still 30% people are qualified about ORS system and 70% people are unaware of ORS system. There is problem about awareness of e-commerce in society. Most of the people are using internet for communication like e- mail, face book so on. Societies are adducting with communication through application but they do not know about e-commerce applications like MSRTC ORS system, e- Governance Facilities, FIR online system. e-commerce application is too useful and helping hand of society. Awareness of all these e-commerce application in society is essential. Online shopping, chatting is done easily by society but handling the e-commerce application like ORS is very less as compared to e-business. Online reservation of railway ticket, Airbus system is known to the society. If you have a credit card or an online banking account, it helps but if some don t, many sellers are too willing to take cash on delivery. In 1999, the total Internet Population in India was 3 million, and the numbers of people involved in online shopping were just few thousands. Today the Internet users in India have grown to 70 million making the market ready. Internet banking and rise in online consumption behaviour are surely the factors helping e- commerce to come back with a bang. An ebay India Census 2010 report announced recently found that diamond rings are among India s favourite online purchase items. The report also claims that out of their 2.5 million users, in the last one year, nearly a third came from rural locations. Most of these rural users buy entry level phones online followed by desktops and apparels. Delhi is the number one e-commerce city, followed by Mumbai and Jaipur, while Maharashtra is the number one state. Online travel which includes booking rail and air tickets, hotel accommodation and tour packages was 70% of the whole. E-tailing, which includes durable products such as electronic items, home and kitchen appliances as well as personal items such as apparels and jewelry, was 13%.Transactions for financial services such as insurance payments and renewals and trading accounts amounted to 9%. And downloading mobile and digital content was 2% of the overall share. Other online services such as classifieds (jobs, matrimonial, cars, real estate, and others), online food delivery and buying movie tickets and DVD rentals made 6% of the overall market. Apart from the booking of online tickets, the findings of the report shows that Indian consumers aren t zealously shopping online. Large number of surfers use internet to look for information about the product or service they want to buy, and then visit the shops to physically buy it. Undoubtedly, Internet is an excellent medium to search for information related to anything you desire. Overall, even though it looks some segments are yet to take off beyond pockets, e-commerce in India is definitely on the right track. 2
3 Automation of the Ticketing System of MSRTC E-Ticket using ETIM & ORS Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation (MSRTC) developed a e-ticket facilities, ORS Online Reservation System for society. ETIM (Electronic Ticket Issuing Machine) is handling by conductor and issue a ticket. So conductor reduces the tedious job by using ETIM. The paper passes that are being used often get soiled or misused by commuters, but smart cards will ensure that passengers do not face these problems. The smartcard will cost Rs 25 each. The smartcards will be available as four-day or seven-day passes under the 'Avdel Tethe Pravas'(Travel Wherever You Like) scheme. Later, smartcards will be used for students, monthly, tri-monthly and other passes of various schemes of MSRTC. The smart card work on Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology and does not need to be swiped. Once the card is held close to the Electronic Ticket issuing Machines, the chip in the card enables the conductor to read the contents of the card. MSRTC is doing its best to include the latest information and technology in its functioning and give the best possible service to travelers. Before the solution could be implemented, Trimax was faced with solving a plethora of problems and also had to ensure that the solution they were offering answered to many of the grievances faced by MSRTC. To start with, there were operational inefficiencies in managing both manpower and the bus fleet. Owing to inaccurate and delayed MIS reports received from depots across the state, the central office faced problems as data was not available with regard to from where how much revenues were generated. It also resulted in delayed revenue reconciliation. Apart from all this, the higher cost of manual ticketing process burnt a hole in the pocket of MSRTC. Even inefficient fund management added to the woes of MSRTC by causing revenue leakage. Last but not the least, the process for advance ticket booking and cancellation for customers was also tedious. MSRTC face a problem of cancellation of ticket.trimax company find out the solution of this problem. Now MSRTC implemented the cancellation of ticket online. ORS (Online Reservation System) introduced by MSRTC with technical help of TRIMAX IT software Solution Company. For ORS, customer become a member of MSRTC, customer fill the form on website After become a member of MSRTC customer ready for reservation. Both the process that reservation and cancelation of e- ticket is doing by this ORS system. Conveniently getting a bus ticket has always been an issue with travelers facing long queues, frequent delays resulting in bad customer experience, and eventual loss of revenue for the government. Taking this into consideration MSRTC (Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation) decided to take the help of electronic ticketing machines (ETM). In addition to Delivering swifter, simpler, safer travel to passengers, this solution enables efficient fleet Management and minimizes revenue leakage. MSRTC is a leading passenger road transport organization in India with fleet of over 16,000 buses and operating 90,000 scheduled bus trips daily on an average. It has deployed over 30,000 conductors for these buses. More than 60 lakh passengers on an average, use the MSRTC 3
4 services daily. The project was designed to automate the existing ticketing system. The basic crux of the system was to automate the existing ticketing system by electronic ticket issuing machine and online reservation system (ORS) for web and advanced booking of tickets. MSRTC s e-ticketing facility was inaugurated to public on January 8, This is a secured and robust solution that has been designed keeping fast booking and userfriendliness in mind. It is expected to prove instrumental in assisting MSRTC s operating distance of more than 178 corer per year. The project was implemented by Trimax IT Infrastructure & Services on build operate transfer (BOT) partnership with MSRTC for 5 years. The project revenue will go to the tune of Rs.200 corer in % years. Conductors are trained using the Train the Trainer methodology. After deployment of ETM machines, ticketing times were reduced by approximately minutes, and also conductors could not do any cheating regarding sale of ticket. The management can now gather the revenue figures as and when required, and also the MIS system has improved. This enables operators to track revenue per bus and profitable routes. Now a day s people are aware about new technologies and use of technologies. Most of youngsters are always play with e-commerce applications like YouTube, face book and they are adduct for these facility,the question is in the front of youngster are they use these application for digging a knowledge are they just play as time pass.how many are qualifier for these useful application In daily life, are they use e-commerce application for finding notes, make a online reservation and e-governance facility to received various forms like caste certificate, Nationalism Certificate and types of form, are they aware about these facilities which is provided by Government. From urban rural to development of e-commerce is appear but still the applications are not use by society. Various applications are handling by different resources. Like MSRTC ticket reservation is developed by online reservation through internet and mobile also. A buys concert tickets online. When she pays she gives her credit card number. A unique bar code is sent by SMS to her mobile phone. She gains entry to the concert by showing the bar code to a reader at the entrance. A traveler needs to take a metro train. He has bought an electronic ticket that has automatically credited ten journeys to his mobile phone. At the ticket barrier, he moves his mobile phone close to an RFID-reader which deducts one journey from his account as the gate opens. Till to date we are classified the urban and rural area but e-commerce is not classified these things. Efficiency and effectively are calculated by e-commerce. Safeguarding is most important part of e-commerce applications are it provided by various applications. Access control is provided by e-commerce applications. Role of e-governance to provide a various facilities in minimum cost.ors Online Reservation System facilities is provided by MSRTC; still the peoples are used window base facility because there may be problem of literacy and resources. But these problems also overcomes the resources are available in minimum cost, mobile with GPRS system is provided in minimum cost. On survey based 100 sample is collected in sangli the status is followed which mention the awareness of ORS system in society. 4

But society is unaware of these facilities like e-governance, ORS system. May be society do not knock these application those are very useful for the daily life. Reason behind this is society is adducted with communication life style and not with application. Is really complete e-commerce is implemented, so that society may change the view of e-commerce? Awareness about e-commerce should be developed in society that e-commerce is not a source of communication but it is necessary application for everyday life style. Problems are always in front of society but how to handle and tackle with a problem all people do not know. To outcomes these problem society may be aware about the real life application. Conclusion:- Societies are adducting with communication through application but they do not much qualify about e-commerce applications like MSRTC ORS system, e-governance Facilities, FIR online. E-commerce application is too useful and helping hand to society. Alert about all these e-commerce application in society is essential. Online shopping, chatting is done easily by society but handling the e-commerce application is very less as compare to e-business.
