1 Nomination Form Organization Award This is an award for a school or education organization that has developed models, strategies, and programs that have made an impact in the field of Indigenous Education. Award recipient will receive a framed award, a $1,000 prize and an all-expense paid trip for one representative to the awards gala in Toronto, ON, which is held in conjunction with the National Gathering for Indigenous Education. Eligibility: Any person in Canada may nominate a school or organization that: demonstrates outstanding achievement in Indigenous education; is based in Canada; focuses on K-12 education has a representative who will accept and attend the gala to receive the award. Jurors are not eligible for nomination and may not submit nominations or support letters. Nomination Process The nomination package should include the following: 1. Completed nomination form; and 2. Two (2) to five (5) letters of support. Do not send photos, newspaper/magazine articles etc. If your nomination is not selected this year, it will go forward to the next two years. You may update your nomination with recent reference letters and nomination form. Only recipients selected for the current year are contacted.
