3 GENERAL DESCRIPTION PVS 6000 is the ideal sweeper for cleaning of roads, parking, and large public and industrial areas. The dirt container capacity of 6 cubic meters and a water reservoir of 2100 litters allow a fair compromise between a high of sweeping autonomy and a content footprint, guarantee of compactness versatility and manoeuvrability. The gathering takes place with suction nozzle, a cup rotating brush, and a central cylindrical roller brush. In the base version the width of the sweeping band reaches 2200 mm (3200 mm in the version provided with optional devices that allow to sweep simultaneously on both sides of the machine). The high suction capacity is guaranteed by the independent auxiliary engine and the mechanical transmission of power to the fan. A system that gives consistent performance even under heavy duty and at the same time is guarantee of extreme simplicity of use and maintenance. The road sweeper PVS 6000 is characterized by a robust structure obtained by adopting high quality materials and components. All this to achieve a long durability and the best features for reliability and cost. The equipment PVS 6000 can of course be applied on the chassis of trucks of various brands including: Man, Iveco, Mercedes, Renault, Volvo, BMC. 5 TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION STANDARD EQUIPMENT - PVS 6000 S DIRT CONTAINER The volume of waste container is 6 cubic meters about. Body made of carbon steel Fe360 cylindrical shape thickness of 4 mm with rounded edges. The container tilting is done by a hydraulic cylinder two-stage. First stage with double effect and second stage with simple effect. Tipping angle of container 55, with a mechanical security anti falling when the container is raised, and a pneumatic command for the release. Rear hatch made in stainless steel, with hydraulic opening through command on the control panel in cabin. Sealing and locking system at three points, operated by hydraulic cylinder and command on the external side of the dirt container. Manual pump for the emergency lifting of container. Two inspection door. A door on the right side of large dimensions to verify the status of loading, it also permits, if necessary, the emptying of the contents of small waste baskets inside the container. A rear door of inspection with direct access to the area above the filter grid allows to check for any obstructions in the suction pipe. The grid filtering the sucked air can be opened easily from the outside by a pneumatic command. The checks and cleaning of the suction pipe are significantly faster and easier. WATER TANK AND WATER PLANT Water tank with a capacity of 2100 liters, totally made with stainless steel AISI 304. For a better weight distribution on the axles when fully loaded, the tank is made of compartments assembled at the sides of the tanks. Centrifugal pump for gray waters, maximum flow rate 33 lt per minute, pressure 4 bar. Cartridge filter to intercept any impurities that might block the nozzles. Device to wash roads and to reduce dust consisting of front bar with 6 nozzles, bar on the central roller brush with 4 nozzles, 2 nozzles for each side brush,5 nozzles for dust abatement on each suction nozzle. The flow rate of each group of nozzles can be adjusted separately through dedicated taps seats on dashboard in the cab. When reverse gear is selected, a solenoid valve automatically stops the supply of water. A faucet with quick-release allows you to connect a water pipe to the circuit to do the cleaning of the waste compartment and washing the vehicle. Possibility of filling the tank through a hose with a connection storz-type or with a normal water pipe. Water level indicator on the control panel in cabin. 6 SUCTION FAN AND DRIVING UNIT The depression in the waste compartment is created through centrifugal fan. The rotor has 11 blades (blade thickness of 5 mm), has a diameter of 700 mm and is made of steel Fe510. The housing of fan is made with sheet metal welded Fe 360, thickness 3 mm, and the turn is made of Hardox 400 thickness 4 mm. There are two door for the inspection of the internal fan. Ability to select two rotation speed of the fan (depending on the version): rpm first speed, rpm second speed.in conditions of maximum use the fan absorbs a power of 55 kw, and develop an air flow rate of m3/h with a prevalence of Pa. The fan is activated by an independent auxiliary engine through transmission belts (pulleys with 5 gorges for XPA type belts). The engagement, commanded by clutch, takes place gradually, eliminating vibration during the starting and the acceleration of the fan, in that way the duration of the belts increases significantly. Finally, the tightening pulley with springs adjustment allows to recover the natural extension of the belts after the first few hours of work. This system of transmission is a guarantee of consistent performance over time, even under conditions of continued and burdensome employment.compared to an hydraulic drive there are no problems related to overheating and/or leakage of oil, maintenance operations are kept to a minimum, cheaper and easier to perform. The absence of electronic in the engine management ensures greater reliability over time, and at the same simplicity in the execution of maintenance operations. For an optimal and continued operation even during warm seasons, the PVS 6000 adopts a radiator and a muffler bigger than normal, usually used in cooling systems and exhaust of engines with 6-cylinder. SWEEPING AND SUCTION DEVICES The sweeping and waste collection is done through a system consisting of: Central cylindrical roller brush, diameter 400 mm, made of steel mixed stilen (as option it's possible to request the nylon version). The brush is rotated directly by an orbital hydraulic motor of 160 cm3 with maximum speed of 150 rpm variable with the operation of the fan (further second speed of rotation, with dashboard control, optional on request). Side cup brush made of strips of steel, 700 mm diameter activated by hydraulic orbital motor of 200 cm3. The motor is equipped with a casing to protect the shaft from any fiber and twine that could wind round during work.complete manual adjustment of all the tilt angles of brush, both the front angle and the side angle.the rotation speed of the brush is 120 rpm variable with the operation of the fan (furthersecond speed of rotation, with dashboard control, optional on request).the pressure of brush on the ground is continuously adjustable with pressure reducerplaced in the cabin. The work area is lit by a beacon operated by dashboard.the side brush is available in the pushed version (standard) or pulled (optional). 8 The suction nozzle is made of Hardox 400 thickness 4 mm, for greater durability and reduced noise due to the objects sucked. The pneumatic device for tilting of the mouth, allows you to aspirate, when necessary, objects like cans, bottles, small boxes and anything else you can find on the street. These devices can operate independently and are easily controlled from the workplace. The brushes and the cart with suction nozzle are pneumatically driven, each is equipped with safety hook and with pneumatic cylinder for the unlocking. When the reverse gear is selected, all groups automatically return in position of "transfer". The aspirant group is assembled on a hauled cart, designed to adapt to different conditions of use, including to sweep in yards with a uneven surface. the joints of the cart are sized better withstand impacts and strokes. The wheels of the of 250 mm in diameter are made with super-elastic rubber, mounted on sturdy rotating supports. The best solution for yards with uneven surface, but also for roads with paving in porphyry cubes. a to cart The suction tube that connects the suction nozzle to the waste container is made of rubber, with anti-wear inside coating, and has a diameter of 250 mm. The PVS 6000 S is equipped with suction nozzle and side brush on the right side, the central roller brush is fixed and oriented toward the right side to push the waste towards the suction nozzle. The PVS 6000 DT is equipped with suction nozzle and side brush both on the right side and on the left side; the central roller brush is mounted on a frame oscillating transversely so that the waste collected by the group may be directed to the suction nozzle on the right or left. The aspiration can be alternatively or on the right or on the left side. The suction duct that is not used is automatically closed by a sluice operated by two pneumatic cylinders. The solution with dual cylinder allows to avoid any form of blocking and the resulting loss of suction that would result. The TS 6000 HD adopts an high performance fan with a flow rate of m3/h and an auxiliary engine with 74 kw of power. The sweepings devices are disposed as in the TS 6000 DT version. The PVS 6000 AS version is provided with an auxiliary engine with 74 kw of power, and with an high performance fan with a flow rate of m3/h. 9 In that version the devices are disposed to allow the simultaneous sweeping on both sides of the machine, the sweeping band can reach 3200 mm. HYDRAULIC AND PNEUMATIC EQUIPMENT The group of hydraulic electric valves is placed in the area that is better protected from dust, and at the same time is easily accessible for maintenance. The oil tank has a capacity of 50/70 liters and is equipped with a cartridge filter inserted in the return line. The pneumatic installation is connected to the compressor of the truck and has a dedicated air tank. The group of pneumatic electric valves is placed inside a box equipped with a closing door: an effective protection against dust and water. All valves are easily accessible and equipped with manual drive system in case of power disruptions. CONTROL PANNEL The command panel is placed beside the driving seat in comfortable position and easily reachable by the operator. Of robust construction (made entirely of sheet metal) and with large dimensions, allows the operator, with a single glance, to constantly have the control of each device of the sweeper without having to resort to any menu on display (rotation speed of the auxiliary engine, coolant temperature of the auxiliary engine, pressure of the pneumatic installation of the equipment, hours of work, water distribution on different nozzles to reduce the dust, brushes and suction nozzle in operation, pressure of brushes on the ground, lights lighting area of work and rotating beacons, commands lifting and closing the dirt container, overload indicator, water level indicator). The absence of electronic circuit boards allows easy and quick identification of possible malfunctions, and repair a lot faster and economical in case of failure without the need for specialized technicians.
