7 K99NR013548: McDonald (PI) 8/1/12-7/31/17 Promoting Teen Health: A Web-based Intervention to Prevent Risky Driving The overall goal of the K99 is to gain advanced research training in attention and adolescent development, driving outcome measures, intervention development, and RCT methodology in order to develop and refine a web-based intervention that promotes safe driving behaviors and driving risk reduction in novice teen drivers. The overall goal of the R00 is to implement a Phase I RCT feasibility study of an advanced version of the K99 developed web-based intervention. Role: PI T32NR007100: Sommers (PI) 6/1/10-7/31/12 Research Training to Promote Health in Vulnerable Populations Goal: To train pre- and post-doctoral fellows as nurse scientists to develop expertise to study multi-system level factors contributing to health disparities among vulnerable women, children, and families.
