15 Offshore Windfarm Projects Offshore wind farm EnBW Baltic 1 realized and operated by EnBW in 2011 is the first commercial German offshore wind farm in the Baltic Sea 16 km north of the peninsula Fischland-Darss-Zingst depth of water 16 to 19 m 21 wind power generators of Siemens (2,3 MW) and one transformer platform height of the facilities up to 114 m output of the offshore wind farm: 48,3 MW annual output of 176 GWh power feed to the 380-kv transforming station in Bentwisch near Rostock grid connection with 150-kv cable (underground) by 50Hertz start of operations in may of 2011 total investment app. over EUR 300 million (including grid connection)

This base rate can incrementally be increased if, for example, a company establishes a production facility strongly geared toward sustainable manufacturing processes, if an R&D department is established at the site or if the company invests in a structurally weaker region in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern.
