4 Centralized Event Management for Overall Security Control At big sites, a large number of cameras, devices, recording servers, etc. are usually distributed widely at great intervals. This can be a challenge for control center operators to monitor the status of all devices, especially when an event occurs. Thus how a central surveillance system helps the control center operator be aware of the event, know its location and the status, and respond correctly as quickly as possible is crucial. 5 Instant event handling A snapshot or event log is generated for each event, providing four types of instant handling options for the event. You can: open the live view to see the event status open the event playback to see the 30 seconds before and after the event go to the live view layout to check the status surrounding the event location go to the e-map layer for the event Bookmark for easier tracking When control center operators witness a suspicious event in the live view, they can use bookmarks to mark the video and write detailed notes so the video can be found quickly later for examination. Bookmarks can be created manually in both live and playback modes.

6 Centralized Device Management for Quicker Configuration One of the most challenging tasks in a large project is the configuration of numerous NVRs and cameras. VioStor CMS helps the project installer to monitor and configure the devices in the system easily from a central location. This significantly reduces set-up time and enhances efficiency. Customizable monitoring layout Freely mix and match e-map and camera videos in different slots of a view. Each slot can include multiple camera videos to form a sequence. The interval between each camera s video display can be adjusted in the sequence. Shortcut Control center operators can drag-and-drop the most frequently used view layout or e-map onto the toolbar as shortcut for more convenient monitoring. Playback non-sync & sync mode Depending on the examiner s need: - Non-sync mode can be used to assign a different timeslot to each camera channel. - Sync mode can be used to playback all channels in the same timeslot. Centralized playback up to 16 channels from multiple NVRs.

8 Open Platform for 3 rd Party Integration Service VioStor CMS is an open platform designed for 3rd party integration, including access control, point of sales (POS), license plate recognition (LPR), face recognition and more. This third-party information serves as the event source to trigger pre-defined actions automatically. Custom integration of VioStor CMS for your project is available on request.
